EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Luc 12:35-40
Gospel
Luke 12:35-40
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, Let your loins be girt about and your lamps burning, and you yourselves like men waiting for their master’s return from the wedding; so that when he comes and knocks, they may straight-way open to him. Blessed are those servants whom the master, on his return, shall find watching. Amen I say to you, he will gird himself, and will make them recline at table, and will come and serve them. And if he comes in the second watch, and if in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those servants! But of this be assured, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would certainly have watched, and not have let his house be broken into. You also must be ready, because at an hour that you do not expect, the Son of Man is coming.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – VENERDI 17 MAGGIO 2024 ORE 18.00

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dal libro della Sapienza.
Eccli 31:8-11
Dobbiamo adorare Gesu’ oggi! Perche’ e’ presente tra noi!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!
FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the book of Wisdom.
Here is 31:8-11
Blessed is the man who is found without blemish, who did not go after gold, and did not hope for money and treasures. Who is this and will we give him praise? Because he certainly did wonders in his life.
From the Gospel according to St. Luke.
At that time: Jesus said to his disciples: «Let your loins be girded and light the lamps in your hands, like those who wait for their master when he returns from a wedding, to open the door as soon as he arrives and knocks.
Today we remember San Pasquale di Baylon. He lived the monastic rule fully, but stood out for his faith and the Eucharistic celebration. He is protected by Eucharistic congresses.
Jesus urges us to always be ready. Jesus is present in the Eucharistic celebration. But we are not certain that it is so in all tabernacles. It depends on the intention of the celebrants. In fact, many do not follow the rules prescribed for celebrations.
We can follow this ritual via the web, or we gather in prayer in front of a sacred image. We must worship Jesus today! Because he is present among us!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
