Ioannes 15:1-7
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis: Ego sum vitis vera: et Pater meus agrícola est. Omnem pálmitem in me non feréntem fructum, tollet eum: et omnem, qui fert fructum, purgábit eum, ut fructum plus áfferat. Iam vos mundi estis propter sermónem, quem locútus sum vobis. Manéte in me: et ego in vobis. Sicut palmes non potest ferre fructum a semetípso, nisi mánserit in vite: sic nec vos, nisi in me manséritis. Ego sum vitis, vos pálmites: qui manet in me, et ego in eo, hic fert fructum multum: quia sine me nihil potéstis fácere. Si quis in me non mánserit, mittétur foras sicut palmes, et aréscet, et cólligent eum, et in ignem mittent, et ardet. In that time, Jesus said to his disciples: I am the true vine; and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me, that beareth not fruit, he will take away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean by reason of the word, which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine: you the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. If any one abide not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire, and he burneth. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done unto you.

Gesu’ dice di essere la vite mentre il padrone della vigna e’ Dio stesso.
Oggi festeggiamo San Fedele, martire. Anche S. Fedele ha dovuto affrontare le massime prove. Era un magistrato che difendeva i poveri. Sentita la vocazione si fa monaco e viene inviato in missione in Svizzera.
Nel 1622 viene martirizzato da una banda di fanatici protestanti. Quindi il suo desiderio viene esaudito
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Jesus says he is the vine while the owner of the vineyard is God himself.
Today we celebrate San Fedele, martyr. S. Fedele also had to face the greatest trials. He was a magistrate who defended the poor. Having felt his vocation, he became a monk and was sent on a mission to Switzerland.
In 1622 he was martyred by a band of Protestant fanatics. Then his wish is granted
