DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dal libro della Sapienza. Le anime dei giusti sono in mano di Dio, e nessuna pena li tocca (non hanno paura della morte perche’ l’hanno gia’ sperimentata). E a maggior ragione, sono nella pace, perché – essendo fronte a Dio – hanno la certezza dell’immortalità.
Dal Vangelo secondo S. Luca. Gesu’ ammonisce i discepoli e parla del futuro della Chiesa: «Quando poi sentirete parlare di guerre e di sommosse, non vi spaventate: così deve prima accadere, ma non verrà subito la fine». E non temete «neppure un capello del vostro capo andrà perduto. Con la vostra costanza guadagnerete le anime vostre».
Oggi e’ il giorno dedicato a i Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio. E’ consolazione sapere che “le anime dei giusti (come questi due santi) sono nelle mani di Dio”. infatti non dobbiamo temere nulla per la salvezza della nostra anima!
Oggi ci troviamo di fronte a persecuzioni ancora subdole e nascoste. Ma le cose peggioreranno Occorre percio’ restare sempre fedeli al Signore!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

From the book of Wisdom.
The souls of the righteous are in the hands of God, and no punishment touches them (they are not afraid of death because they have already experienced it). And even more so, they are at peace, because – being before God – they have the certainty of immortality.
From the Gospel according to St. Luke.
Jesus warns his disciples and speaks about the future of the Church: “When you hear about wars and riots, do not be frightened: this must happen first, but the end will not come immediately”. And do not fear «not even a hair of your head will be lost. By your perseverance you will win your souls.” Today is the day dedicated to Saints Vincent and Anastasius. It is consolation to know that “the souls of the righteous (like these two saints) are in the hands of God”. in fact we need not fear anything for the salvation of our soul! Today we find ourselves faced with persecutions that are still subtle and hidden. But things will get worse. We must therefore always remain faithful to the Lord!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
