Evangelium
Ioann 19:30-35
Gospel
John 19:30-35
At that time, when Jesus had taken the wine, He said, It is consummated! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. The Jews therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, in order that the bodies might not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath, for that Sabbath was a solemn day, besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other, who had been crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs; but one of the soldiers opened His side with a lance, and immediately there came out Blood and water. And he who saw it has borne witness, and his witness is true.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – ORARI S.MESSA DI VENERDI 1 LUGLIO 2022, ORE 8.00:
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*,1)
Hebr 9:11-15
Joann 19:30-35
In quel tempo, quand’ebbe preso l’aceto, Gesù disse: «Tutto è compiuto!».

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Hebr 9: 11-15 Brothers, when Christ came as high priest of future goods, passing through a larger and more perfect tent, which is not the work of man – that is, not of this created world – he entered the sanctuary once and for all: not with blood. of goats and calves. but with his own blood, having bought us an eternal redemption.
Joann 19: 30-35 At that time, when he had taken the vinegar, Jesus said: “Everything is finished!”. Then, bowing his head, he surrendered the spirit.
We are in this chapel to celebrate the solemnity of the Precious Blood. He offered it to God the Father for the redemption of humanity. Jesus is the true paschal victim!
Even in his death he is the Easter lamb. The victim had to be completely bled but intact (no broken bones). Only through Jesus can we obtain salvation!
How great is the vocation of the priestly ministry! Because the priest offers the sacrifice of Jesus Christ himself! Today’s seminarians, unfortunately, do not receive this teaching.
They do not recognize the sacrifice of Christ! Vocations need to be rediscovered! But this requires the authentic liturgy of the vetus ordo, or the Tridentine-Roman-apostolic rite!
With the Motu Proprio “Summorum Pontificum” Benedict XVI had reintroduced the ancient rite in 2007 thus allowing the priceless treasure that is realized in it!
This is because it is only in the vetus ordo that the presence of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is manifested in its fullness!
Praised be Jesus Christ. Always be praised!
