DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dal libro della Sapienza.
Eccli 44:16-27; 45, 3-20
FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the book of Wisdom.
Here is 44:16-27; 45, 3-20
Here is the high priest who in his days pleased God, and was found righteous, and in the day of wrath was an instrument of conciliation. No one was like him in maintaining the law of the Exalted. For this reason, with an oath, the Lord assured him of glory in his lineage. To him he gave the blessing of all the ancestors, and confirmed his covenant over his head.
From the Gospel according to Saint Matthew the evangelist.
At that time Jesus told his disciples this parable (the parable of the talents): «A man, about to leave, called his servants and gave them his possessions: to some he gave five talents, to some two, to some one: to each according to his ability, and immediately departed.
Today we remember Saint Antoninus, bishop of Florence, famous above all for his charity towards the least of the Church. He knew how to advise people in doubt. Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit with the gifts of his talents.!

Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
