MATTHEW 23:28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Matt 10:23-28
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis: Cum persequéntur vos in civitáte ista, fúgite in áliam.
Gospel
Matt 10:23-28
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, When they persecute you in one town, flee to another. Amen I say to you, you will not have gone through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. No disciple is above his teacher, nor is the servant above his master. It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and for the servant to be like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household! Therefore do not be afraid of them. For there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in darkness, speak it in the light; and what you hear whispered, preach it on the housetops. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather be afraid of Him, Who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – GIOVEDI 2 MAGGIO 2024 ORE 18.00

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians.
Brothers: We do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ our Lord: we are your servants for the love of Jesus. Indeed, that God who said “out of darkness let the light shine”, himself shone in our hearts, so that the knowledge would be clear of the glory of God in the person of Jesus Christ.
From the Gospel according to St. Matthew.
At that time Jesus said to his disciples: «When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not have finished going through all the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. The disciple is not more than the master, nor the servant more than the master. It is enough for the disciple to be like the master, and for the servant like the master. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, much more his servants. So do not fear them.
Today we celebrate St. Athanasius, bishop of Alexandria in Egypt during the Arian heresy. According to the heresy, Jesus was only man. Pernicious and widespread heresy. St. Athanasius fought it vigorously and suffered persecution for it (he was kicked out five times!). For this reason I teach Catholic doctrine in many places.
There is therefore no need to stay in churches to preach the Gospel! In fact, we cannot remain in heretical churches! May the thought of Saint Athanasius accompany us so that we do not give in to compromise!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
