DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dalla lettera di San Paolo apostolo ai Filippesi.
Fratelli: State sempre lieti nel Signore, lo ripeto, state allegri. La vostra dolcezza sia nota a tutti: il Signore è vicino.
Dal Vangelo secondo S. Matteo.
In quel tempo, i discepoli si avvicinarono a Gesù e gli chiesero: «Chi- è dunque il più grande nel regno dei cieli?».
Oggi festeggiamo S. Giovanni Bosco confessore. La sua vita desta meraviglia per i prodigi da lui attuati. Santo che dal cielo continua a beneficarci!
Fu un umile sacerdote ma con grande fede. Salvo’ un gran numero di giovani in tutto il mondo con l’ordine dei salesiani.
Infatti il Vangelo, tramite le parole di Gesu’, dice: “chi accoglie uno di questi piccoli accoglie me!”
San Giovanni Bosco e’ anche l’apostolo della gioia perche’ crede nella Provvidenza. Tutto viene tramite la preghiera!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

From the letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Philippians.
Brothers: Always be happy in the Lord, I repeat, be cheerful. May your sweetness be known to all: the Lord is near.
From the Gospel according to St. Matthew.
At that time, the disciples approached Jesus and asked him: “Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”. Today we celebrate St. John Bosco the confessor. His life arouses wonder for the wonders he performed. Who continues to benefit us from heaven! He was a humble priest but with great faith. He saved a large number of young people around the world with the Salesian order. In fact the Gospel, through the words of Jesus, says: “whoever welcomes one of these little ones welcomes me!” Saint John Bosco is also the apostle of joy because he believes in Providence. Everything comes through prayer!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
