DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Prima lettura dalla lettera ai Romani. S.Paolo si presenta come apostolo delle Genti per diffondere la fede in Cristo tra questi ultimi,
Il Vangelo secondo Matteo Luca parla di come Giuseppe sposo di Maria mentre meditava di rimandarla segretamente dai suoi genitori ebbe un sogno dove un angelo gli chiese di non temere: il figlio che deve nascere e’ stato generato dallo Spirito Santo. Lo chiamerai Gesu’, poiche’ liberera’ il suo popolo dai suoi peccati.
La vigilia quest’anno cade di domenica. Si sente piu’ forte il senso dell’attesa. Abbiamo dei segni, le nostre anime aspettano il Salvatore!
Giovanni Battista, il profeta Isaia, la BVM, Elisabetta e oggi San Giuseppe annunciano l’avvento del Messia e hanno preparato la sua venuta senza vederne pero’ tutti la conclusione. Alcuni hanno affrontato anche il martirio, come S. Giovanni Battista e come poi S. Paolo. E ci sono invece ci sono persone che hanno preparato la sua venuta nel silenzio, come Maria dall’Annunciazione fino al sogno di S. Giuseppe di oggi.
Oggi la Chiesa e’ calpestata dagli eretici: si tratta di un abominio contro il Signore e il suo Vangelo. Noi abbiamo la fede da portare con sofferenza affinche’ possiamo unire i nostri sforzi a Gesu’, per essere suoi servi fedeli!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

First reading from the letter to the Romans. St. Paul presents himself as an apostle of the Gentiles to spread faith in Christ among the latter, The Gospel according to Matthew Luke talks about how Joseph, Mary’s husband, while he was contemplating secretly sending her back to her parents, had a dream where an angel asked him not to fear: the son who was to be born was generated by the Holy Spirit. You will call him Jesus, because he will free his people from their sins. This year’s Eve falls on Sunday. The sense of anticipation is felt stronger. We have signs, our souls await the Savior! John the Baptist, the prophet Isaiah, the BVM, Elizabeth and today Saint Joseph announce the advent of the Messiah and have prepared his coming without, however, all seeing the conclusion. Some also faced martyrdom, like St. John the Baptist and then St. Paul. And instead there are people who have prepared his coming in silence, like Mary from the Annunciation to St. Joseph’s dream today. Today the Church is trampled by heretics: it is an abomination against the Lord and his Gospel. We have the faith to bear with suffering so that we can unite our efforts with Jesus, to be his faithful servants!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
