In illo témpore: Dicébat Iesus scribis et pharisæis: Ecce, ego mitto ad vos prophétas, et sapiéntes, et scribas, et ex illis occidétis et crucifigétis, et ex eis flagellábitis in synagógis vestris, et persequémini de civitáte in civitátem: ut véniat super vos omnis sanguis iustus, qui effúsus est super terram, a sánguine Abel iusti usque ad sánguinem Zacharíæ, filii Barachíæ, quem occidístis inter templum et altáre. Amen, dico vobis, vénient hæc ómnia super generatiónem istam. At that time, Jesus said to the Scribes and Pharisees, Therefore, behold, I send you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and some of them you will put to death and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from town to town; that upon you may come all the just blood that has been shed on the earth, from the blood of Abel the just unto the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias, whom you killed between the temple and the altar. Amen I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. Jerusalem, Jerusalem! you who kill the prophets, and stone those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you would not! Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, you shall not see Me henceforth until you shall say, Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!

Vi mandero’ sapienti e profeti dice il Signore, ma voi li crocefiggerete e flagellerete nelle vostre sinagoghe,
Siamo ancora nella gioia del Natale. Oggi ricordiamo il primo martirio di Santo Stefano, per questo detto proto-martire. Anche noi possiamo sacrificarci ogni giorno.
I rabbini erano invidiosi di Santo Stefano e dei suoi numerosi miracoli. Ma Santo Stefano ama anche i suoi nemici e invoca il loro perdono!
La persecuzioni e le uccisioni dei cristiani sono una costante della storia, anche quella di Gerusalemme.
Anche la falsa chiesa attuale perseguita i veri cristiani. Per questo finira’ nella polvere!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

I will send you wise men and prophets, says the Lord, but you will crucify them and scourge them in your synagogues, We are still in the joy of Christmas. Today we remember the first martyrdom of Saint Stephen, therefore called proto-martyr. We too can sacrifice ourselves every day. The rabbis were envious of Saint Stephen and his many miracles. But Saint Stephen also loves his enemies and asks for their forgiveness! The persecution and killing of Christians are a constant in history, including that of Jerusalem. Even the current false church persecutes true Christians. This is why it will end up in the dust!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
