At that time, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. Il Signore mi possedette dal principio delle sue azioni, prima delle sue opere, fin d’allora. Fui stabilita dall’eternità e fin dalle origini, prima che fosse fatta la terra. Non erano ancora gli abissi e io ero già concepita: non scaturivano ancora le fonti delle acque: i monti non posavano ancora nella loro grave mole; io ero generata prima che le colline: non era ancora fatta la terra, né i fiumi, né i càrdini del mondo. Quando preparava i cieli, io ero presente: quando cingeva con la volta gli abissi: quando in alto dava consistenza alle nubi e in basso dava forza alle sorgenti delle acque: quando fissava i confini dei mari e stabiliva che le acque non superassero i loro limiti: quando gettava le fondamenta della terra. Ero con Lui e mi dilettava ogni giorno e mi ricreavo in sua presenza e mi ricreavo nell’universo: e le mie delizie sono lo stare con i figli degli uomini. Dunque, o figli, ascoltatemi: Beati quelli che battono le mie vie. Udite l’insegnamento, siate saggi e non rigettatelo: Beato l’uomo che mi ascolta e veglia ogni giorno all’ingresso della mia casa, e sta attento sul limitare della mia porta. Chi troverà me, troverà la vita e riceverà la salvezza dal Signore.

In quel tempo: Fu mandato da Dio l’Àngelo Gabriele in una città della Galilea chiamata Nàzaret, ad una Vergine sposata ad un uomo della casa di David, di nome Giuseppe, e la Vergine si chiamava Maria. Ed entrato da lei, l’Àngelo disse: Ave, piena di grazia: il Signore è con te: Benedetta tu fra le donne.
Secondo giorno di festivita’ dell’Immacolata. Seguiamo la liturgia di S. Maria in sabato (884) che modifica il testo della prima lettura.
La prima lettura riporta la profezia di Isaia al re Achab, la quale afferma che Il Messia nascera da una vergine
L’arcangelo Gabriele e’ mandato a Nazareth presso la Vergine Maria che saluta dicendole “Ave, piena di grazia: il Signore è con te: Benedetta tu fra le donne”!
Quindi l’Arcangelo annuncia a Maria che lei partorira’ il Figlio di Dio, L’Emmanuele e dovra chiamarlo Gesu’.
Questa festivita’ e’ fonte di grande gioia per tutti noi. E’ Dio il creatore di tutti noi. La sua Sapienza (il suo Verbo) ha creato anche questa creatura magnifica la Vergine Maria. La stessa Vergine Maria in cui il Verbo si e’ incarnato!
Dobbiamo quindi essere anche noi. come tutta la Cristianita’, in fervida attesa del Natale di Gesuì innalzando preghiere a Gesu’ Stesso, a Dio Padre onnnipotente e alla BVM-.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Prov 8:22-35
The Lord begot me, the firstborn of His ways, the forerunner of His prodigies of long ago; from of old I was poured forth, at the first, before the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains or springs of water; before the mountains were settled into place, before the hills, I was brought forth; while as yet the earth and the fields were not made, nor the first clods of the world. When He established the heavens I was there, when He marked out the vault over the face of the deep; when He made firm the skies above, and poised the fountains of waters; when He set for the sea its limit, so that the waters should not transgress His command; when He fixed fast the foundations of the earth; then was I beside Him as His craftsman, and I was His delight day by day, playing before Him all the while, playing on the surface of His earth and I found delight in the sons of men. So now, O children, listen to me; happy those who keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Happy the man who obeys me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorsteps, for he who finds me finds life, and wins favor from the Lord.

Second day of the Immaculate Conception. We follow the liturgy of St. Mary on Saturday (884) which modifies the text of the first reading. The first reading reports Isaiah’s prophecy to King Ahab, which states that the Messiah will be born of a virgin The archangel Gabriel is sent to Nazareth to the Virgin Mary who greets her by saying “Hail, full of grace: the Lord is with you: Blessed are you among women”! Then the Archangel announces to Mary that she will give birth to the Son of God, Emmanuel and will have to name him Jesus. This holiday is a source of great joy for all of us. God is the creator of all of us. His Wisdom (his Word) also created this magnificent creature, the Virgin Mary. The same Virgin Mary in which the Word became incarnate! We must therefore be ourselves too. like all Christianity, fervently awaiting the Christmas of Jesus, raising prayers to Jesus Himself, to God the almighty Father and to the BVM-
