EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Joann 1:35-51
Et dicit ei Jesus: Séquere me. Dicit ei Nathánaël: Unde me nosti?
Gospel
John 1:35-51
At that time: John was standing, and two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus walking, he says: Behold the Lamb of God. And the two disciples heard him speak, and followed Jesus. But Jesus turning, and seeing them following him, said to them: What are you looking for? They said to him: Rabbi – which is said to be interpreted Magister – where do you live? He says to them: Come and see. They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day: but it was about ten o’clock. And there was Andréas, the brother of Simon Peter, one of the two who had heard from John and followed him. Here he first finds his brother Simon and says to him: We have found the Messiah – which is translated Christ -. And he brought him to Jesus. When Jesus looked at him, he said: You are Simon, the son of Jonah: you will be called Cephas, which is interpreted as Peter. On the morrow he wished to go out into Galilee, and found Philip. And Jesus said to him: Follow me. Now Philip was from Bethsaida, a citizen of Andrew and Peter. Philip finds Nathanael and says to him: Whom Moses wrote in the law, and the prophets, we find Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth. And Nathanaël said to him: Can anything good come from Nazareth? Philip says to him: Come and see. Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said of him: Behold a true Israelite, in whom there is no guile. Nathanaël says to him: How do you know me? Jesus answered and said to him: Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. Nathanael answered him and said: Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are the King of Israel. Jesus answered and said to him: Because I said to you: I saw you under the fig tree, you believe: you will see greater than these. And he says to him: Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – MERCOLEDI 29/11/2023 ORE 17.30:
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dal libro della Genesi. Rigoglioso arbusto e’ Giuseppe.

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the book of Genesis. Giuseppe is a lush shrub. The God of your father will be your help.
In the Gospel, at the baptism of Jesus the sky opens and the dove of the Holy Spirit descends. A voice is heard from heaven: “You are my beloved son!”. Jesus was about thirty years old and was considered the son of Joseph.
Today the Advent novena begins.
Our dispositions must be those of Saint Joseph, the man chosen by God to be next to Mary of Nazareth. Giuseppe was a just man even in his soul. This is why the Lord liked him! The Lord likes even more than the ancient rite, prayers, the purified soul of the faithful always turned to the Lord with faith and love.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
