EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Matt 9:1-8
In illo témpore: Ascéndens Iesus in navículam, transfretávit et venit in civitátem suam. Et ecce, offerébant ei paralýticum iacéntem in lecto.
Gospel
Matt 9:1-8
At that time, Jesus, getting into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a pallet. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven you. And behold, some of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes. And Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, Why do you harbor evil thoughts in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, – then He said to the paralytic – Arise, take up your pallet and go to your house. And he arose, and went away to his house. But when the crowds saw it, they were struck with fear, and glorified God Who had given such power to men.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – GIOVEDI 05/10/2023 ORE 18.00
Gesu’ e’ a Nazareth.
E quindi ci puo’ rimettere i peccati!

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON FRANCO BROGI (**,1)
From the epistle of St. Paul to the Corinthians. We thank God because he enlightens us with faith and knowledge, while we are waiting for Jesus Christ to manifest himself! Jesus is in Nazareth. A paralytic is brought in front of him. But a scribe in his heart doubts Jesus who responds. Is it easier to heal a paralytic from birth or forgive his sins? Well so that we can know that the Son of God has the power to forgive sins, Jesus orders the paralytic to get up and go home alone! The good news is that the Lord Jesus is God! And therefore he can forgive us our sins! This is the glory of God: in saving man by bringing him back to the communion of saints! We need the Savior, the only savior who is Jesus Christ alone. Son of God! We must preach the faith to those who lack it, to give hope for a life that never ends!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
