DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Eph 3:8-19
Fratelli: A me, minimissimo di tutti i santi è stata data questa grazia di annunciare tra le genti le incomprensibili ricchezze del Cristo, e svelare a tutti quale sia l’economia del mistero nascosto da secoli in Dio, che ha creato tutte cose: onde i principati e le potestà celesti, di fronte allo spettacolo della Chiesa, conoscano oggi la multiforme sapienza di Dio, secondo la determinazione eterna che Egli ne fece nel Cristo Gesù, Signore nostro: nel quale, mediante la fede, abbiamo l’ardire di accedere fiduciosamente a Dio. A questo fine piego le mie ginocchia dinanzi al Padre del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo, da cui tutta la famiglia e in cielo e in terra prende nome, affinché conceda a voi, secondo l’abbondanza della sua gloria, che siate corroborati in virtù secondo l’uomo interiore per mezzo del suo Spirito. Il Cristo abiti nei vostri cuori mediante la fede, affinché, ben radicati e fondati nella carità, possiate con tutti i santi comprendere quale sia la larghezza, la lunghezza e l’altezza e la profondità di quella carità del Cristo che sorpassa ogni concetto, affinché siate ripieni di tutta la grazia di cui Dio è pienezza inesauribile.
Joannes 19:11-37
In quel tempo: I Giudei, siccome era la Parasceve, affinché i corpi non rimanessero sulla croce durante il sabato – era un gran giorno quel sabato – pregarono Pilato che fossero rotte loro le gambe e fossero deposti. Andarono dunque i soldati e ruppero le gambe ad entrambi i crocifissi al fianco di Gesù. Giunti a Gesù, e visto che era morto, non gli ruppero le gambe: ma uno dei soldati gli aprì il fianco con una lancia, e subito ne uscì sangue e acqua. E chi vide lo attesta: testimonianza verace di chi sa di dire il vero: affinché voi pure crediate. Tali cose sono avvenute affinché si adempisse la Scrittura: Non romperete alcuna delle sue ossa. E si avverasse l’altra Scrittura che dice: Volgeranno gli sguardi a colui che hanno trafitto.
E’ una gioia celebrare la festa del Sacratissimo Cuore! Non appena ho pensato alla Cappella ho compreso che doveva essere dedicata ai SS. Cuori!
Il Cuore di Gesu’ e’ fuoco di amore e carita’. Questo fuoco e’ lo Spirito Santo che si e’ diffuso dalla casa di Nazareth in tutto il mondo.
Il cuore di Gesu’ e’ apparso per la prima volta nel giorno di S. Giovanni apostolo (27 dicembre). Siamo tutti partecipare al banchetto di carita’ e amore. Ma non tutti corrispondono. Infatti alcuni resistono (o sono indifferenti) preferendo le cose del mondo. Amare il Signore significa amare le stesse cose che ha amato lui. L’amore ha vinto! L’amore alla fine (dopo difficolta’) porta alla vittoria.
Che il Signore ci aiuti in questo giorno!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Eph. 3:8-12, 14-19.
Brethren: To me, the very least of all saints, there was given this grace, to announce among the Gentiles the good tidings of the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to enlighten all men as to what is the dispensation of the mystery which has been hidden from eternity in God, Who created all things; in order that through the Church there be made known to the Principalities and the Powers in the heavens the manifold wisdom of God according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Him we have assurance and confident access through faith in Him. For this reason I bend my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from Whom all fatherhood in heaven and on earth receives its name, that He may grant you from His glorious riches to be strengthened with power through His Spirit unto the progress of the inner man; and to have Christ dwelling through faith in your hearts: so that, being rooted and grounded in love, you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, in order that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God.
John 19:31-37.
At that time, the Jews, since it was the Preparation Day, in order that the bodies might not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a solemn day, – besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other, who had been crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs; but one of the soldiers opened His side with a lance, and immediately there came out blood and water. And he who saw it has borne witness, and his witness is true; and he knows that he tells the truth, that you also may believe. For these things came to pass that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Not a bone of Him shall you break. And again another Scripture says, They shall look upon Him Whom they have pierced.
It is a joy to celebrate the feast of the Most Sacred Heart! As soon as I thought of the Chapel I understood that it had to be dedicated to the SS. Hearts!
The Heart of Jesus is fire of love and charity. This fire is the Holy Spirit who has spread from the house of Nazareth throughout the world.
The heart of Jesus appeared for the first time on the day of St. John the Apostle (December 27). We all participate in the banquet of charity and love. But not all match. In fact some resist (or are indifferent) preferring the things of the world. Loving the Lord means loving the same things that he loved. Love has won! Love eventually (after hardship) leads to victory.
May the Lord help us on this day!
