Matt 18:15-22
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis: Si peccáverit in te frater tuus, vade, et córripe eum inter te et ipsum solum. Si te audíerit, lucrátus eris fratrem tuum. Si autem te non audíerit, ádhibe tecum adhuc unum vel duos, ut in ore duórum vel trium téstium stet omne verbum. Quod si non audíerit eos: dic ecclésiæ. Si autem ecclésiam non audíerit: sit tibi sicut éthnicus et publicánus. Amen, dico vobis, quæcúmque alligavéritis super terram, erunt ligáta et in cœlo: et quæcúmque solvéritis super terram, erunt solúta et in cœlo. Iterum dico vobis, quia si duo ex vobis consénserint super terram, de omni re quamcúmque petíerint, fiet illis a Patre meo, qui in cœlis est. Matt 18:15-22
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: If your brother sin against you, go and show him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listen to you, you have won your brother. But if he do not listen to you, take with you one or two more so that on the word of two or three witnesses every word may be confirmed. And if he refuse to hear them, appeal to the Church, but if he refuse to hear even the Church, let him be to you as the heathen and the publican. Amen I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound also in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed also in heaven. I say to you further, that if two of you shall agree on earth about anything at all for which they ask, it shall be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together for My sake, there am I in the midst of them. Then Peter came up to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.

4 Reg 4:1-7
In quel tempo una donna si raccomandava ad Eliseo dicendo: «Il tuo servo, mio marito, è morto, e tu sai se il tuo servo temeva il Signore; or ecco è venuto un creditore a prendere i miei due figli per farli suoi schiavi». Eliseo le disse: «Che passo farti? Dimmi, che hai in casa tua?». Essa rispose: «Io tua serva, in casa mia non ho niente eccetto che un’ampolla di olio». Allora le disse: «Va’ a chieder in prestito dai tuoi vicini dei vasi vuoti, e non pochi; poi, rientrata che sarai, chiuditi in casa insieme ai tuoi figli, versa quell’olio in tutti quei vasi, e quelli pieni mettili da parte». La donna se ne andò, e chiuse la porta dietro a sé e ai suoi figli: questi le presentavano i vasi, ed essa versava. Quando i vasi furono pieni, disse ad uno dei suoi figli: «Portami un altro vaso». Ma quegli rispose: «Non ce n’è più». E l’olio si fermò. Allora essa andò a riferire all’uomo di Dio, il quale disse: «Va’ a vendere l’olio e paga il tuo creditore, e tu e i tuoi figli vivete con quel che resterà».

In quel tempo disse Gesù ai suoi discepoli: «Se tuo fratello ha peccato contro di te, va’ e ammoniscilo fra te e lui solo; se ti ascolta, hai guadagnato il tuo fratello. E se non ti ascolta, prendi con te uno o due, affinché per bocca di due o tre testimoni sia regolata ogni cosa. E se non ne fa caso, fallo sapere alla Chiesa; se poi non ascolta nemmeno la Chiesa, consideralo come un pagano e un pubblicano. Inoltre v’assicuro in verità: Quanto legherete sulla terra sarà legato nel cielo; e quanto scioglierete sulla terra sarà sciolto nel cielo. Ancora vi dico: se due di voi si accorderanno sulla terra a domandare qualsiasi cosa, sarà loro concessa dal Padre mio che è nei cieli. Perché dove sono due o tre adunati nel mio nome, ci sono io in mezzo a loro». Allora Pietro, fattosi avanti, disse: «Signore, fino a quante volte, se il mio fratello pecca contro di me, dovrò perdonare? fino a sette volte?». Gesù gli rispose: «Non ti dico fino a sette, ma fino a settanta volte sette».
Nella prima lettura Eliseo moltiplica l’olio della vedova. La vedova si e’ fidata di Eliseo e quindi di Dio.
Dopo la Pentecoste ci potranno essere discordie tra i fratelli. Gesu’ ci dice cosa fare. Si tratta della correzione fraterna fatta, all’inizio, in forma privata. Ma se la correzione non viene accolta occorre procedere in presenza di testimoni e poi dell’assemblea.
Ma Gesu’ aggiunge anche le prerogative dei vescovi uniti al vero Vicario di Cristo.
Infine c’e’ la preghiera comune: Dio ascolta la preghiera di due o piu’ fedeli. Occorre quindi formare dei cenacoli in cui Dio sia presente.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

4 Regs 4:1-7 At that time a woman recommended herself to Elisha saying: «Your servant, my husband, is dead, and you know whether your servant feared the Lord; now, behold, a creditor has come to take my two sons to make them his slaves. Elisha said to her: «What step are you taking? Tell me, what do you have in your house?». She replied: “I, your maid, have nothing in my house except a cruet of oil.” So he said to her: “Go and borrow some empty vases from your neighbors, and not a few; then, when you return, shut yourself up in the house together with your children, pour that oil into all those jars, and put the full ones aside». The woman went away, and closed the door behind her and her children: they presented her the vases, and she poured. When the pots were full, he said to one of his sons, “Bring me another pot.” But he replied: “There is none left.” And the oil stopped. Then she went to report to the man of God, who said: “Go sell the oil and pay your creditor, and you and your children live on what is left over.”

In the first reading, Elisha multiplies the widow’s oil. The widow trusted Elisha and therefore God. After Pentecost there may be discord between the brothers. Jesus tells us what to do. This is the fraternal correction done, at the beginning, in a private way. But if the correction is not accepted, it is necessary to proceed in the presence of witnesses and then of the assembly. But Jesus also adds the prerogatives of bishops united to the true Vicar of Christ. Finally there is common prayer: God hears the prayer of two or more faithful. It is therefore necessary to form cenacles in which God is present.
