In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis parábolam me: Símile est regnum cœlórum thesáuro abscóndito in agro: quem qui invénit homo, abscóndit, et præ gáudio illíus vadit, et vendit univérsa, quæ habet, et emit agrum illum. Iterum símile est regnum cœlórum hómini negotiatóri, quærénti bonas margarítas. Invénta autem una pretiósa margaríta, ábiit, et véndidit ómnia, quæ hábuit, et emit eam. At that time, Jesus spoke this parable to His disciples: The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field; he who finds it hides it, and in his joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Alzai la mia voce da questa terra e dall’orlo della tomba gridai aiuto, e pregai: «O Signore, mio Padre sei Tu; sì, Tu sei il campione della mia salvezza. Non mi abbandonare nel giorno d’angoscia, nel giorno di rovina e di desolazione. Senza posa loderò il tuo Nome, di te mi ricorderò nella preghiera». E il Signore ascoltò la mia voce, e porse orecchio alla mia supplica; mi liberò da ogni male e mi salvò nel giorno della sventura. Perciò canto l’inno di lode e di grazie, e benedico il Nome del Signore.

In quel tempo Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli questa parabola: «È simile il regno dei cieli ad un tesoro nascosto in un campo, che un uomo trovatolo, tiene celato, e, tutto giulivo dell’accaduto, va a vendere quel che ha e compra quel campo….. Così avverrà alla fine del mondo: Verranno gli Angeli e toglieranno i cattivi di mezzo ai giusti e li getteranno nella fornace ardente: ivi sarà pianto e stridor di denti. Avete intese tutte queste cose?». Gli dicono: «Sì ». Ed Egli a loro: «Per questo ogni scriba istruito nel regno dei cieli, è simile ad un padre di famiglia che trae fuori dalla sua dispensa cose nuove e cose vecchie».
Oggi ricordiamo Santa Bibiana santa e vergine, venerata sin dai primi secoli. Possiede due tesori, il martirio della fede e la consacrazione come vergine.
Anche noi nel giorno del giudizio dovremo passare al vaglio, sperando di essere i pesci (le anime buone!).
Oggi ricordiamo che e’ anche il primo venerdi del Mese. Quindi ricordiamo la misericordia e le grazie del Signore che ringraziamo in ogni momento!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!
