DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*,1)
Act 2:14-21.
In quei giorni, Pietro, levatosi su con gli altri undici, alzò la voce e disse loro: «Uomini di Giudea, e voi tutti abitanti di Gerusalemme, questo vi sia chiaro, e date ascolto alle mie parole. Costoro certo non sono ubriachi, come voi pensate, non essendo che la terza ora del giorno. Si avvera invece quanto disse il profeta Gioele: “E avverrà negli ultimi giorni dice il Signore che io diffonderò il mio Spirito sopra tutti gli uomini, e i vostri figli e le vostre figlie profeteranno, i vostri giovani avranno delle visioni ed i vostri vecchi dei sogni.
Acts 5:12-16
In quei giorni: Avvenivano per mezzo degli Apostoli molti segni e prodigi nel popolo. E tutti se ne stavano riuniti nel portico di Salomone. Degli altri poi nessuno ardiva unirsi con essi; ma il popolo li elogiava.
Joannes 6:44-52
In quel tempo disse Gesù alle turbe dei Giudei: «Nessuno può venire a me se non lo attira il Padre, che mi ha mandato; ed io lo risusciterò nell’ultimo giorno. Sta scritto nei profeti: “Saran tutti ammaestrati da Dio”.
Nella liturgia di oggi ci sono due letture. Siamo nella settimana di Pentecoste, ma siamo anche nella settimana delle Quattuor Tempora, le quattro stagioni dell’anno che si festeggiano per il cambio di stagione.
Lo Spirito Santo e’ all’opera in molti modi.
Vi saranno manifestazioni particolari e profezie (prima lettura). Ma tra i messaggi ve ne sono tanti falsi.
Miracoli di guarigione attraverso gli apostoli (seconda lettura).
Infine nel Vangelo Gesu’ stesso parla dello Spirito Santo che attira i cuori al Padre: chi accoglie Gesu’ si salva.
Per darci la salvezza Gesu’ ci da il suo corpo (il pane disceso dal cielo).
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Act 2: 14-21. In those days, Peter stood up with the other eleven, raised his voice and said to them, ‘Men of Judea, and all you inhabitants of Jerusalem, let this be clear to you, and listen to my words. They are certainly not drunk, as you think, since it is only the third hour of the day. Instead, what the prophet Joel said will come true: “And it will happen in the last days the Lord says that I will pour out my Spirit on all men, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young people will have visions and your old men will have dreams.
Acts 5: 12-16 In those days: Through the Apostles there were many signs and wonders among the people. And all were gathered in Solomon’s porch. Of the others, none dared to unite with them; but the people praised them.
Joannes 6: 44-52 At that time Jesus said to the throngs of Jews: «No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will resurrect him on the last day. It is written in the prophets: “All will be taught by God.” There are two readings in today’s liturgy.
We are in the week of Pentecost, but we are also in the week of Quattuor Tempora, the four seasons of the year and due to the change of season .
The Holy Spirit is at work in many ways. There will be particular manifestations and prophecies (first reading). But among the messages there are many false ones. Miracles of healing through the apostles (second reading).
Finally, in the Gospel that speaks of the Holy Spirit who draws hearts to the Father: whoever welcomes Jesus is saved. To give us salvation, Jesus gives us his body (the panen descended from heaven).
