DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Io sono la vite, dice il Signore, e voi i tralci. Se voi non rimanete con me non portate frutto!
Oggi ricordiamo S. Bonifacio di Tarso martire nel 307, le cui reliquie sono state portate a Roma nel quarto secolo.
La parola di Dio deve essere l’anima della nostra vita, come per S. Bonifacio.
Non si tratta di un aspetto superficiale, ma la della nostra stessa vita. Piu’ la parola di Dio e’ nel nostro cuore, piu’ la nostra preghiera sara’ efficace e potente.
I santi sono potenti presso Dio e possono intercedere per noi. Ma possiamo anche noi essere tralci del Signore. Se non gli apparteniamo, tuttavia, saremo tagliati e condannati!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

I am the vine, says the Lord, and you are the branches. If you don’t stay with me you won’t bear fruit! Today we remember St. Boniface martyr, whose relics were brought to Rome in the third century.
The word of God must be the soul of our life, as for St. Boniface.
This is not a superficial aspect, but the aspect of our own life.
The more the word of God is in our hearts, the more our prayer will be effective and powerful. The saints are powerful with God and can intercede for us.
But we too can be branches of the Lord. If we don’t belong to him, however, we will be cut off and doomed!
Praised be Jesus Christ. Always be praised!
