DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Phil 2:5-11
Fratelli: Abbiate in voi gli stessi sentimenti dai quali era animato Cristo Gesù: il quale, essendo nella forma di Dio, non reputò che fosse una rapina quel suo essere uguale a Dio, ma annichilò se stesso, prese la forma di servo, fatto simile agli uomini, e per condizione riconosciuto quale uomo. Egli umiliò se stesso, facendosi ubbidiente sino alla morte e morte di croce.
Matt 26:36-75; 27:1-60.
Arrivò alfine ad un luogo, nominato Getsemani, e Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli: J. Fermatevi qui, mentre io vado più in là a fare orazione.
Un breve pensiero. Il brano e’ molto ben conosciuto. Il ramo benedetto fa posto sui quadri sacri, particolarmente il crocifisso. Dio Padre permette tutta questa sofferenza, sembrerebbe a prima vista quasi una sconfitta, ma la gloria di Gesu’ e’ compiuta da Dio Padre. Anche noi partecipiamo alla gloria di Dio. Il rametto e’ un sacramentale. Ma occorre la nostra partecipazione e la nostra adesione libera. Ci sforziamo di seguire Gesu’ sulla via della croce per poter condividere anche la sua gloria!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Phil 2: 5-11 Brothers: Have in yourselves the same sentiments from which Christ Jesus was animated: who, being in the form of God, did not consider that his being equal to God was a robbery, but annihilated himself, took the form of a servant, a similar fact. to men, and by condition recognized as a man. He humbled himself, making himself obedient to death and death on the cross.
Matt 26: 36-75; 27: 1-60. Finally he arrived at a place, named Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples: J. Stop here, while I go farther on to pray.
A brief thought. The piece is very well known. The blessed branch makes room for sacred paintings, particularly the crucifix. God the Father allows all this suffering, it would seem at first sight almost a defeat, but the glory of Jesus is accomplished by God the Father.
We too participate in the glory of God. The branch is a sacramental. But we need our participation and our free membership.
We strive to follow Jesus on the way of the cross in order to be able to share his glory too!
