DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Joel 2:12-19
Questo dice il Signore: Convertitevi a me con tutto il vostro cuore, nel digiuno, nelle lacrime e nei sospiri. Perdona, o Signore, perdona al popolo tuo, e non abbandonare all’obbrobrio il tuo retaggio sotto il dominio delle nazioni.
Matt 6:16-21
In quel tempo: Disse Gesù ai suoi discepoli: Quando digiunate non fate i malinconici, come gli ipocriti, che sfigurano il proprio volto per far vedere agli uomini che digiunano.
Il Signore cerca un popolo capace di fare penitenza. Qual’e’ la cosa piu’ necessaria, ma anche piu’ difficile,
di piangere i nostri peccati. Invece di specchiarci non sugli altri, ma su Gesu’ soltanto! Dobbiano essere riconoscenti a Dio. Tutto viene dal Signore!
Da noi viene solo il si e qualche volta il no! Quante mancanze di carita’ da parte nostra!
Ognuno ha la propria responsabilita’. Dobbiamo specchiare la nostra anima sul modello di Gesu’ Cristo!
Ecco perche’ il digiuno, le opere di carita’, il nostri impegno di vivere la Quaresima.
Allontaniamo il nostro orgoglio e l’apparenza! Le nostra riparazione va fatta di fronte a Dio.
Preghiamo che scenda la benedizione di Dio, su di noi, i nostri fratelli e il nostro paese!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo. Sempre sia lodato!

Joel 2: 12-19 This is what the Lord says: Convert to me with all your heart, in fasting, in tears and sighs. Forgive, O Lord, forgive your people, and do not abandon your heritage to shame under the dominion of the nations.
Matt 6: 16-21 At that time: Jesus said to his disciples: When you fast do not be melancholy, like the hypocrites, who disfigure their face to make men see that they fast.
The Lord is looking for a people capable of doing penance. What is the most necessary, but also the most difficult thing, to weep for our sins. Instead of reflecting not on others, but on Jesus alone!
We must be grateful to God. Everything comes from the Lord!
We only say yes and sometimes no! How many lack of charity on our part! Everyone has their own responsibility.
We must mirror our soul on the model of Jesus Christ!
This is why fasting, works of charity, our commitment to live Lent.
Let’s remove our pride and appearance! Our reparation must be made in the face of God.
We pray that God’s blessing will come upon us, our brothers and our country!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
