EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Evangelium
Luc 1:26-31
Gospel
Luke 1:26-31.
At that time, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And when the angel had come to her, he said, Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women. When she had heard him she was troubled at his word, and kept pondering what manner of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace with God. Behold, you shall conceive in your womb and shall bring forth a son; and you shall call His name Jesus.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Apoc 11:19; 12:1, 10
Ricordiamo l’episodio dell’apparizione dell’11 febbraio 1858 a Lourdes.

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)
Rev 11:19; 12: 1, 10
The temple of God which is in heaven was opened, and the ark of his Covenant appeared in his temple, and thunderbolts and cries and earthquakes and strong hail came from it.
Luke 1: 26-31.
At that time, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city in Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin wife of a man named Joseph, of the lineage of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
We recall the episode of the apparition of 11 February 1858 in Lourdes.
Bernadette saw the Madonna clothed in light, as the queen of Heaven.
Our Lady represents the heavenly Jerusalem. The golden rose at his feet represents God’s blessing. God the Father sends Our Lady to earth to give humanity the last chance of salvation!
If we welcome the hand that Mary holds out to us, we will have salvation! Mary represents salvation, through the triumph of her immaculate heart!
The holy rosary is the instrument for praying with faith, to be able to abandon ourselves to the very powerful intercession of Mary.
If humanity, as it did, rejects God, it can still save itself only through the intercession of the BVM!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
