And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his particular ability, and then he went on his journey. And he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more. In like manner, he who had received the two gained two more. But he who had received the one went away and dug in the earth and hid his master’s money. Then after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. Eccli 44:16-27; 45, 3-20
Ecco il gran sacerdote che nei suoi giorni piacque a Dio, e fu trovato giusto, e nel giorno dell’ira fu strumento di conciliazione. Nessuno fu simile a lui nel conservare la legge dell’Eccelso. Per questo, con giuramento, il Signore gli assicurò la gloria nella sua stirpe.

In quel tempo Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli questa parabola: «Un uomo, in procinto di partire, chiamati i servi consegnò loro i suoi beni: a chi diede cinque talenti, a chi due, a chi uno: a ciascuno secondo la sua capacità, e subito partì.
Oggi ricordiamo la festa di S. Gregorio Barabarigo (Gregorio Giovanni Gaspare Barbarigo), cardinale della diocesi di Padova. E’ un vescovo che ha cercato di applicare la riforma nella Chiesa a seguito del Conciclio di Trento. E’ stato un cardinale e vescovo cattolico italiano che è venerato come santo dalla Chiesa cattolica (16 settembre 1625, Venezia -18 giugno 1697, Padova), canonizzato nel 1960 da Papa Giovanni XXIII.
San Gregorio considerava il Seminario il cuore del suo cuore. Infatti il vero cuore della Chiesa e’ l’istruzione dei sacerdoti e la catechesi capillare presso i giovani e i fedeli. Ha sostenuto personalmente i poveri.
Ma dal CV2 e’ seguito un crescente abbandono della formazione teologica, spirituale e pastorale nei seminari. Ma e’ stato solo l’inizio dell’abominio della desolazione! La chiesa che viene oggi rappresentata e’ espressione manifesta dell’apostasia. Si tratta di un tradimento al Signore!
I sacerdoti e i fedeli devono opporsi come fecero S.Greforio Barbarigo e San Carlo Borromeo! I talenti ricevuti devono essere messi a frutto!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Today we remember the feast of S. Gregorio Barabarigo (Gregorio Giovanni Gaspare Barbarigo), cardinal of the diocese of Padua. He is a bishop who tried to apply the reform in the Church following the Council of Trent.
