DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dal terzo libro dei Re.
In quei giorni vennero dal re Salomone due donne di mala vita, e presentatesi a lui, una disse: «Ti scongiuro, o mio signore! Abitando in una stessa casa con questa donna, io partorii presso di lei nella camera; e il terzo giorno dal mio parto, partorì anche lei. Noi stavamo insieme, e nessun altro, fuori di noi due, era con noi in quella casa. Or essendo morto durante la notte il figlio di questa donna, da lei soffocato nel dormire, essa, alzatasi nel silenzio del cuor della notte, prese il mio figlio dal fianco di me tua serva, che ero addormentata, e lo pose sul suo seno, e pose in grembo a me il suo figlio morto.

In quel tempo: essendo prossima la Pasqua dei Giudei, Gesù salì a Gerusalemme. E trovò nel tempio venditori di bovi, di pecore e di colombe e cambiamonete ai loro banchi. Ma Gesù non si affidava ad essi, perché li conosceva tutti; e non aveva bisogno che altri gli desse informazioni sull’uomo, sapendo da sé quello che vi fosse nell’uomo.
Salomone prefigura l’eterno nostro giudice, Gesu Cristo. Gesu’ dimostra a noi tutti la sua autorevolezza. Caccia, percio’, i mercanti dal tempio adempiendo alla profezia.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

From the third book of Kings.
