Marc 16:14-20
In illo témpore: Recumbéntibus úndecim discípulis, appáruit illis Iesus: et exprobrávit incredulitátem eórum et durítiam cordis: quia iis, qui víderant eum resurrexísse, non credidérunt. Et dixit eis: Eúntes in mundum univérsum, prædicáte Evangélium omni creatúræ. Qui credíderit et baptizátus fúerit, salvus erit: qui vero non credíderit, condemnábitur. Signa autem eos, qui credíderint, hæc sequéntur: In nómine meo dæmónia eiícient: linguis loquentur novis: serpentes tollent: et si mortíferum quid bíberint, non eis nocébit: super ægros manus impónent, et bene habébunt. At length he appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again. And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover. And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God. But they going forth preached everywhere, the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.

Festeggiamo oggi Maria Ausiliatrice. Pio V ha istituito nel 1570 la litania Auxilium Christianorum in seguio alla vittoria nella battaglia di Lepanto. Nel 1800 Pio VII di ritorno dalla prigionia in Francia volle spostare la festa il 24 maggio.
Un altro cultore fu San Giovanni Bosco che vedeva il pericolo per i giovani attraverso la stampa.
Anche noi ricorriamo a lei con questo titolo, come San Giovanni Bosco, Pio VII e Pio V!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Today we celebrate Mary Help of Christians. Pius V instituted the litany Auxilium Christianorum in 1570 following the victory in the battle of Lepanto. In 1800 Pius VII returning from captivity in France wanted to move the feast to May 24th.
Another lover was St. John Bosco who saw the danger to young people through the press.
We too have recourse to her with this title, like St. John Bosco, Pius VII and Pius V!
