DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Is 60:1-6
Sorgi, o Gerusalemme, sii raggiante: poiché la tua luce è venuta, e la gloria del Signore è spuntata sopra di te. Mentre le tenebre si estendono sulla terra e le ombre sui popoli: ecco che su di te spunta l’aurora del Signore e in te si manifesta la sua gloria.
Matt 2:1-12
Nato Gesú, in Betlemme di Giuda, al tempo del re Erode, ecco arrivare dei Magi dall’Oriente, dicendo: Dov’è nato il Re dei Giudei? Abbiamo visto la sua stella in Oriente e siamo venuti per adorarlo.
Ieri e’ terminato il tempo di Natale e fino al 13 gennaio vi e’ il tempo dell’Epifania (calendario del Vetus Ordo). L’Epifania e’ una festa molto cara a Benedetto XVI perche’ riguarda da vicino la conoscenza di Dio (tutti gli uomini possono arrivare alla conoscenza di Dio).
Per questo Benedetto XVI non ha esitato a dialogare con gli atei al fine di convertirli. A tutti gli uomini e’ stata data la conoscenza della natura (la scienza dei Magi, Primo Libro). Illuminati dalla ragione sono arrivati in Israele dove esisteva la scienza superiore (Secondo Libro, Bibbia dell’Antico Testamento). Gli scribi e i sacerdoti conoscevano le profezie sulla nascita di Gesu’.
Ma nella Chiesa c’e’ ancora maggior sapienza, il Verbo di Dio (il Logos) fatto uomo e ci ha portato la sua parola (Terzo Libro)! La posizione degli agnostici non e’ valida! Non e’ vero che non possiamo conoscere Dio!
Dio si e’ fatto persona in Gesu’ Cristo! L’agnosticismo non ha ragione d’essere: si tratta solo di rinuncia alla conoscenza per pura pigrizia! I Magi hanno cercato la verita’!
Benedetto XVI ha combattuto l’agnosticismo (ma non gli agnostici!). Il mondo pero’ e’ pieno di persone che sono come pecore, che credono al Media, ai potenti e influenti. Benedetto XVI ha cercato di aiutare le persone a seguire la verita’.
Si tratta di non accontentarci, di cercare la verita’ di Cristo! Verranno popoli da lontano! Accorreranno anche quelli che non hanno la fede, se ci sono persone illuminate che diffondono la fede, la luce che brilla per le genti!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Isaiah 60:1-6 Arise, O Jerusalem, be radiant: for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has dawned upon you. While darkness spreads over the earth and shadows over the peoples: behold, the dawn of the Lord dawns upon you and his glory is manifested in you.
Matt 2:1-12 Born Jesus, in Bethlehem of Judah, at the time of King Herod, behold some Magi arrive from the East, saying: Where was the King of the Jews born? We have seen his star in the East and have come to worship him.
Yesterday the Christmas time ended and until January 13th there is Epiphany time (Vetus Ordo calendar). Epiphany is a holiday very dear to Benedict XVI because it closely concerns the knowledge of God (all men can come to the knowledge of God). This is why Benedict XVI did not hesitate to dialogue with atheists in order to convert them. All men have been given the knowledge of nature (the science of the Magi, First Book). Enlightened by reason they arrived in Israel where superior science existed (Second Book, Old Testament Bible). The scribi and the priests knew the prophecies about the birth of Jesus. But in the Church there is even greater wisdom, the Word of God (the Logos) made man who carried his Gospel (The Third Book)! The position of the agnostics is invalid! It is not true that we cannot know God! God became person in Jesus Christ! Agnosticism has no reason to exist: it’s just a matter of giving up knowledge out of pure laziness! The Magi sought the truth! Benedict XVI fought agnosticism (but not agnostics!). But the world is full of people who are like sheep, who believe in Media, in the powerful and influential. Benedict XVI tried to help people follow the truth. It is a question of not being satisfied, of seeking the truth of Christ! Peoples will come from afar! Even those who do not have faith will flock, if there is
