Marc 16:14-20
In illo témpore: Recumbéntibus úndecim discípulis, appáruit illis Iesus: et exprobrávit incredulitátem eórum et durítiam cordis: quia iis, qui víderant eum resurrexísse, non credidérunt. Et dixit eis: Eúntes in mundum univérsum, prædicáte Evangélium omni creatúræ. Qui credíderit et baptizátus fúerit, salvus erit: qui vero non credíderit, condemnábitur. Signa autem eos, qui credíderint, hæc sequéntur: In nómine meo dæmónia eiícient: linguis loquentur novis: serpentes tollent: et si mortíferum quid bíberint, non eis nocébit: super ægros manus impónent, et bene habébunt. At length he appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again. And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover. And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God. But they going forth preached everywhere, the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Lettura degli Atti degli Apostoli.
Act 1:1-11
Nel primo libro ho raccontato, o Teofilo, tutto ciò che Gesú fece ed insegnò dall’inizio fino al giorno in cui, dati per mezzo dello Spirito Santo i suoi ordini agli Apostoli che aveva eletti, fu assunto in cielo. Ad essi ancora si mostrò vivo dopo la sua passione, dando molte prove, apparendo ad essi durante quaranta giorni, e parlando del regno di Dio. Ed insieme a mensa, comandò loro di non allontanarsi da Gerusalemme, ma di aspettare la promessa del Padre, la quale avete udita per bocca mia: poiché invero Giovanni battezzò con l’acqua, ma voi sarete battezzati nello Spirito Santo di qui a non molti giorni.
Dal Vangelo secondo San Marco evangelista.
In quel tempo: Gesú apparve agli undici, mentre erano a mensa, e rinfacciò ad essi la loro incredulità e durezza di cuore, perché non avevano prestato fede a quelli che lo avevano visto resuscitato. E disse loro: Andate per tutto il mondo: predicate il vangelo ad ogni creatura. Chi crederà e sarà battezzato, sarà salvo: chi poi non crederà, sarà condannato.
Terminato il Vangelo dell’Ascensione viene spento il cielo per commemorare Gesu’ asceso al cielo! Deve subentrare la nostra fede, la cui fiamma deve splendere! Quando noi svolgiamo la missione di evangelizzazione Gesu’ e’ sempre presente con noi! La luce passa ai nostri cuori se le nostre intenzioni sono buone! Non ci abbandonera’ mai fino alla fine del mondo! Questa e’ la nostra certezza!
Guardiamoci intorno: che buio che c’e’! Molte persone sono senza motivazione e restano passive di fronte ai segni del male! Cerchiamo di portare la parola del Signore con la nostra azione missionaria!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

From the Acts of the Apostles.
Acts 1:1-11
In the first book I recounted, O Theophilus, everything that Jesus did and taught from the beginning until the day in which, having given his orders through the Holy Spirit to the Apostles he had chosen, he was taken up into heaven. He showed himself alive to them again after his passion, giving many proofs, appearing to them for forty days, and speaking of the kingdom of God. And together at table, he commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which ye have heard through my mouth: for indeed John baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
From the Gospel according to Saint Mark the Evangelist.
At that time: Jesus appeared to the eleven, while they were at table, and reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him resurrected. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world: preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved: whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Once the Gospel of the Ascension is finished, the sky is turned off to commemorate Jesus who ascended into heaven! Our faith must take over, whose flame must shine! When we carry out the evangelization mission, Jesus is always present with us! Light passes to our hearts if our intentions are good! He will never abandon us until the end of the world! This is our certainty!
Let’s look around: how dark it is! Many people are without motivation and remain passive in the face of signs of evil! Let us try to bring the word of the Lord with our missionary action!
