EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Ioannes 20:11-18
Gospel
John 20:11-18
In that time: Mary stood at the sepulchre without, weeping. Now as she was weeping, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, And she saw two angels in white, sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been laid. They say to her: Woman, why weepest thou? She saith to them: Because they have taken away my Lord; and I know not where they have laid him. When she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing; and she knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith to her: Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, thinking it was the gardener, saith to him: Sir, if thou hast taken him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith to her: Mary. She turning, saith to him: Rabboni – which is to say, Master. – Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God. Mary Magdalen cometh, and telleth the disciples: I have seen the Lord, and these things he said to me.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – GIOVEDI 4 APRILE 2024 ORE 18.00:

E’ l’apparizione a Maria Maddalena.: “donna perche’ piangi?”.
FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the Acts of the Apostles.
In those days: An Angel of the Lord spoke to Philip and said to him: «Get up and go towards midday on the road that goes from Jerusalem to Gaza: this is deserted». He got up and left. And behold, an Ethiopian eunuch, a very powerful man near Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, superintendent of all her treasures, who had been to worship in Jerusalem; and he now returned reading, sitting on his chariot, the prophet Isaiah. Then the Spirit said to Philip: "Come forward and approach that chariot." And Philip, running up, heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said: "Do you understand what you read?". He said: "And how can I do it if no one explains it to me?".
From the Gospel according to St. John.
At that time: Mary was outside near the tomb and crying. And while he was crying he looked out at the tomb; she saw two Angels dressed in white, one sitting at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been placed. And they said to her: "Woman, why are you crying?". He replied to them: "Because they have taken my Lord away and I don't know where they have put him." And having said this, she turned back and saw Jesus who was there, without however knowing that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her: «Woman, why are you crying? who are you looking for?". And she, thinking he was the greengrocer, said to him: "Sir, if you took him away, tell me where you put him and I will take him." Jesus said: «Mary!». She revolted and exclaimed: « Rabboni! », what do you mean Master. Jesus said to her: «Do not attach yourself to me; because I have not ascended to my Father, but go to my brothers and tell them that I ascend to my Father and your Father, my God and your God." Mary Magdalene went to the disciples to say: "I saw the Lord and thus he spoke to me."
It is the apparition to Mary Magdalene: "woman, why are you crying?". We believe despite not having seen, thanks to the witnesses. But Jesus hides from our eyes to facilitate our journey towards faith. But we have to look for it!
The other theme is that of the announcement. We too must announce the resurrection of the Lord!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
