DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Profezia dal libro del profeta Isaia: spuntera’ un germoglio dalla radice di Iesse. E’ il Messia!
Nel Vangelo la BVM si reca dalla cugina Elisabetta che aspetta il figlio (sara’ Giovanni detto il Battista?. Il bambino nel ventre di Elisabetta sussulta di gioia all’udire di saluto di Maria e la risposta di sua madre Elisabetta! Si tratta dell’effetto miracoloso dello Spirito Santo che Gesu’ presente nel ventre di Maria suscita in tutti i presenti!
Si tratta del dialogo memorabile detto “della visitazione”. Maria e’ salutata come “benedetta tra le donne”. Le letture ci preparano al Natale.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Prophecy from the book of the prophet Isaiah: a shoot will grow from the root of Jesse. He is the Messiah! In the Gospel the BVM goes to her cousin Elizabeth who is expecting her child (will it be John known as the Baptist?. The child in Elizabeth’s womb leaps with joy upon hearing Mary’s greeting and the response of her mother Elizabeth! It is the miraculous effect of the Holy Spirit that Jesus present in Mary’s womb arouses in all those present! This is the memorable dialogue called “of the visitation”. Mary is hailed as “blessed among women”. The readings prepare us for Christmas.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
