EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
oannes 4:46-53
In illo témpore: Erat quidam régulus, cuius fílius infirmabátur Caphárnaum.
Gospel
John 4:46-53.
At that time, there was a certain royal official whose son was lying sick at Capharnaum. When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he went to him and besought Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Jesus therefore said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you do not believe. The royal official said to Him, Sir, come down before my child dies. Jesus said to him, Go your way, your son lives. The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and departed. But even as he was now going down, his servants met him and brought word saying that his son lived. He asked of them therefore the hour in which he had got better. And they told him, Yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him. The father knew then that it was at that very hour in which Jesus had said to him, Your son lives. And he himself believed, and his whole household.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – DOMENICA 15/10/2023 ORE 10.30:

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Ephes 5:15-21
Riempiamoci solo dello Spirito Santo! La fede viene pregando!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Eph 5:15-21
Brethren: See to it that you walk with care: not as unwise but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not become foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, for in that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father. Be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.
John 4:46-53
At that time, there was a certain royal official whose son was lying sick at Capharnaum. When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and besought Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. For participation in the Eucharist use (2). Let us take advantage of the present time to understand the will of the Lord. This is why we also often mentally recite prayers to the Lord. The gospel is the passage that refers to “Erat quidam régulus”, a royal dignitary [regulus] who turns to the Lord to intercede on behalf of his sick son. Who through a miracle of Jesus believes him and his whole house. It is a miracle of Jesus like that of October 13, 1917 which led many atheists to convert. The example of the Regulus is exemplary. In fact, he is a pagan, not a Jew, who turns to Jesus to save his seriously ill son. In fact, there was no more hope. Times had become difficult. Even now times are difficult. Our soul (the child) of the ruler (ourselves) is about to die. We must turn to Jesus with humble and confident prayer. This is how we can reach faith! Let’s fill ourselves only with the Holy Spirit! Faith comes by praying!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
