EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Ioann 19:25-27.
Gospel
John 19:25-27
At that time, there were standing by the Cross of Jesus His Mother and His Mother’s sister, Mary of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus, therefore, saw His Mother and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He said to His Mother, Woman, behold your son. Then He said to the disciple, Behold your Mother. And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – VENERDI 15/09/2023 ORE 18.00:

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Standing near the cross of Jesus were his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. Jesus, therefore, seeing his mother and the disciple he loved next to her, said to his mother: “Woman, here is your son”. Then he said to the disciple: “Here is your mother.” On this day the Church meditates on the sufferings of the BVM during the crucifixion of her son. The holiday is very ancient and was extended to the entire Church in 1800 (immediately after the Napoleonic reign) by Pius VII. The sufferings of the Church have been great. As during the reign of Benedict XVI. The Church, in fact, follows the arbitrariness of Freemasonry which pervades and persecutes it. Mary experienced these sufferings in advance during the Passion of Jesus Christ!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
