Marc 10:15-21
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis: Quisquis non recéperit regnum Dei velut párvulus, non intrábit in illud. Et compléxans párvulos et impónens manus super illos, benedicébat eos. Et cum egréssus esset in viam, procúrrens quidam, genu flexo ante eum, rogábat eum: Magíster bone, quid fáciam, ut vitam ætérnam percípiam? Iesus autem dixit ei: Quid me dicis bonum? Nemo bonus, nisi unus Deus. Præcépta nosti: Ne adúlteres, ne occídas, ne furéris, ne falsum testimónium díxeris, ne fraudem féceris, honora patrem tuum et matrem. At ille respóndens, ait illi: Magíster, hæc ómnia observávi a iuventúte mea. Iesus autem intúitus eum, diléxit eum et dixit ei: Unum tibi deest: vade, quæcúmque habes, vende et da paupéribus, et habébis thesáurum in cælo: et veni, séquere me.

At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, Whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a little child will not enter into it. And He put His arms about the children, and laying His hands upon them, He began to bless them. And as He was going forth on His journey, a certain man running up fell upon his knees before Him, and asked Him, Good Master, what shall I do to gain eternal life? But Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good but only God. You know the commandments: You shall not commit adultery. You shall not kill. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. You shall not defraud. Honor your father and mother. And he answered and said, Master, all these I have kept ever since I was a child. And Jesus, looking upon him, loved him, and said to him, One thing is lacking to you; go, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Gesu nel Vangelo ci dice che per entrare nel regno di Dio occorre essere puri e innocenti come bambini.
Mentre sta per riprendere il cammino uno degli ebrei presenti chiede a Gesu’ cosa debba fare per entrare nel regno di Dio ed avere in sorte la vita eterna. E Gesu’, dopo i dieci comandamenti che lui conosce bene come ebreo, gli dice: Ti manca una cosa. Va e vendi i tutti i tuoi beni e donali ai poveri. Dopo vieni da me!
Oggi ricordiamo un santo molto importante Sant’Antonio Maria Zaccaria, vissuto nel 1502-1539, epoca dell’eresia protestante. Intere nazioni si erano distaccate dalla Chiesa Cattolica. Laureatosi in medicina a Padova si dedico’ ai malati. Rinuncio’ a tutti i suoi beni e divenne sacerdote fondando l’ordine dei Barnabiti, ispirato a San Paolo.
Muore a trentasei anni ma in punto di morte ha la visione degli apostoli!
Abbiamo bisogno anche oggi di sacerdoti come Sant’Antonio Maria Zaccaria! Il suo simbolo, che ci poniamo anche noi d’innanzi, e’ quello del libro dell’ordine dei barnabiti, il segno della sua e nostra dedicazione a Gesu’ Cristo!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Jesus in the Gospel tells us that to enter the kingdom of God it is necessary to be pure and innocent like children.
As he is about to resume his journey, one of the Jews present asks Jesus what he must do to enter the kingdom of God and have eternal life. And Jesus, after the ten commandments that he knows well as a Jew, says to him: You are missing one thing. Go and sell all your possessions and give them to the poor. Then come to me!
Today we remember a very important saint Sant’Antonio Maria Zaccaria, who lived in 1502-1539, the era of the Protestant heresy. Whole nations had broken away from the Catholic Church. Graduated in medicine in Padua, he dedicated himself to the sick. He renounced all his possessions and became a priest, founding the order of the Barnabites, inspired by Saint Paul.
He died at the age of thirty-six but on his deathbed he had the vision of the apostles!
We need priests like Saint Anthony Maria Zaccaria today too! Its symbol, which we also place before us, is that of the book of the order of the Barnabites, the sign of his and our dedication to Jesus Christ!
