EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Matt 5:20-24
Gospel
Matt 5:20-24.
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: Unless your justice exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not kill’; and that whoever shall kill shall be liable to judgment. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’, shall be liable to the fire of Gehenna. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift before the altar and go first to be reconciled to your brother; and then come and offer your gift.
DALL’OMELIA (FROM THE HOMILY) – MARTEDI 04/07/023 ORE 18.00

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the book of Revelation. There is a multitude of angels gathered around the Throne praising the Lord. And the four living beings said: so be it!
From the Gospel. Jesus meets Nathanael for the first time and praises him as a good Israelite in whom there is no duplicity. Nathanael in response makes his profession of faith: he does so by invoking Jesus as the Son of God and the King of Israel and the Messiah.
This invocation comes from the Holy Spirit
Jesus then prophesies that they will see the Lord in glory descend from heaven surrounded by angels. But to be able to see the Lord in his Glory it is necessary to be simple: there is clarity and sincerity in his heart and in his mind. They are characteristics similar to those of angels faithful to the Lord!
If we want to be just as faithful we must try to look like Nathanael!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
