Luc 9:1-6
In illo témpore: Convocátis Iesus duódecim Apóstolis, dedit illis virtútem et potestátem super ómnia dæmónia, et ut languóres curárent. Et misit illos prædicáre regnum Dei et sanáre infírmos. Et ait ad illos: Nihil tuléritis in via, neque virgam, neque peram, neque panem, neque pecúniam, neque duas túnicas habeátis. Et in quamcúmque domum intravéritis, ibi manéte et inde ne exeátis. Et quicúmque non recéperint vos: exeúntes de civitáte illa, étiam púlverem pedum vestrórum excútite in testimónium supra illos. Egréssi autem circuíbant per castélla, evangelizántes et curántes ubíque.

At that time, having summoned the twelve apostles, Jesus gave them power and authority over all the devils, and to cure diseases. And He sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. And he said to them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor wallet, nor bread, nor money; neither have two tunics. And whatever house you enter, stay there, and do not depart from thence. And whosoever will not receive you – go forth from that town, and shake off even the dust from your feet for a witness against them. And going forth, they went about from village to village, preaching the gospel and working cures everywhere.

Acts 8:5-8
In quei giorni: Filippo arrivato alla città di Samaria, vi predicava Cristo. La moltitudine prestava attenzione a quanto diceva Filippo, ascoltando di comune accordo, e ammirava i miracoli che faceva. Poiché da molti che avevano spiriti immondi, questi uscivano gridando ad alta voce. E furono anche guariti molti paralitici e zoppi. Tanto che vi fu grande allegrezza in quella città.
Luc 9:1-6
Gesù, convocati i Dodici, diede loro potere ed autorità su tutti i demoni e di guarire le malattie. E li mandò a predicare il regno di Dio e a guarire gli infermi. E disse loro: «Non prendete niente per viaggio, né bastone, né bisaccia, né pane, né danaro, né abbiate due tuniche. E in qualunque casa voi sarete entrati, restatevi senza uscirne. E se alcuni non vi ricevono, uscendo da quella città, scotete anche la polvere dai vostri piedi in protesta contro di loro». Ed essi, partitisi, girarono per i paesi annunziando la buona novella e operando ovunque guarigioni.
Siamo ancora nell’ottava di Pentecoste. Siamo nel mese di giugno dedicato al Signore (le feste del Corpus Domini e del Sacro Cuore di Gesu’). Siamo protetti dal Sacro Cuore di Gesu’.
Nelle letture abbiamo udito come Gesu’ operi nella Chiesa attraverso lo Spirito Santo, operando gli stessi miracoli che compiva Gesu’ durante la sua predicazione.
I sacerdoti hanno ricevuto quindi il potere di cacciare i demoni e risanare i malati.
In questo periodo dobbiamo affidarci (NDR ove possibile), alla guida di vescovi e sacerdoti, purche’ tuttavia siano veramente uniti a Gesu’ Cristo. Dobbiamo attendere, lo speriamo, la guida dei pastori autentici.
Preghiamo quindi perche’ i vescovi e i sacerdoti si convertano e seguano la via autentica di Gesu’.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Acts 8:5-8
In those days, Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached the Christ to them. And the crowds with one accord gave heed to what was said by Philip, listening to him and seeing the miracles that he worked. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, went out of many possessed persons, and many paralytics and cripples were cured. So there was great joy in that city.

At that time, having summoned the twelve apostles, Jesus gave them power and authority over all the devils, and to cure diseases.
We are still in the Octave of Pentecost. We are in the month of June dedicated to the Lord (the feasts of Corpus Domini and the Sacred Heart of Jesus). We are protected by the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In the readings we have heard how Jesus works in the Church through the Holy Spirit, working the same miracles that Jesus performed during his preaching.
The priests therefore received the power to cast out demons and heal the sick.
In this period we must entrust ourselves (NDR where possible) to the guidance of bishops and priests, provided however that they are truly united with Jesus Christ. We have to wait, we hope so, for the guidance of authentic shepherds.
Let us therefore pray that the bishops and priests convert and follow the authentic way of Jesus.
