If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also.

Ioann 15:17-25
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis: Hæc mando vobis, ut diligátis ínvicem. Si mundus vos odit: scitóte, quia me priórem vobis odio hábuit.
Gospel
John 15:17-25
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, These things I command you, that you may love one another. If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before you. If you were of the world, the world would love what is its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I have spoken to you: No servant is greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also; if they have kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him Who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them works such as no one else has done, they would have no sin. But now they have seen, and have hated both Me and My Father; but that the word written in their Law may be fulfilled, ‘They have hated Me without cause.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – VENERDI 28 OTTOBRE 2022 ORE 18.00:
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)
Eph 4:7-13
Simone e Giuda apostoli. Dove operarono distrussero i templi pagani.

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Eph 4: 7-13 Brothers, grace has been given to each of us according to the measure of the gift given to us by Christ. That is why it is said: “He ascended on high, made slavery a slave: he distributed gifts to men”. But what does it mean to have gone up, if not to have first descended even in the lowest regions of the earth? He who descended is the same who also ascended above all the heavens to fill all things.
Joann 15: 17-25 At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: «This I command you: to love one another reciprocally. If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, it would love what is its; instead, because you do not belong to him, since I am in the middle of the world. that’s why it hates you. Remember that word I told you: he does not give himself a greater servant than his master.
Today the Church celebrates the SS. Simon and Judas apostles.
S. Simone was nicknamed Cananeo or Zelote to distinguish him from S. Pietro and S. Simone, who succeeded S. Giacomo the Minor in the bishopric of Jerusalem. St. Jude, nicknamed Thaddeus in order not to confuse him with the traitor of the Lord, was the son of Cleopas and of Mary, cousin of the Most Blessed Virgin.
Always remembered together having worked in Mesopotamia, where they found martyrdom. Where they operated they destroyed the pagan temples.
This was probably the cause of their martyrdom.
In fact, the world hates Jesus Christ and also God the Father.
As for us, we must always work with a spirit of faith and charity!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
