In these were lying a great multitude of the sick, blind, lame, and those with shriveled limbs, waiting for the moving of the water.

EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Ioann 5:1-4
In his iacébat multitúdo magna languéntium, cæcórum, claudórum, aridórum exspectántium aquæ motum.
Gospel
John 5:1-4
At that time, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem, by the Sheepgate, a pool called in Hebrew Bethsaida, having five porticoes. In these were lying a great multitude of the sick, blind, lame, and those with shriveled limbs, waiting for the moving of the water. For an Angel of the Lord used to come down at certain times into the pool, and the water was troubled. And the first to go down into the pool after the troubling of the water was cured of whatever infirmity he had.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – DOMENICA 23 OTTOBRE 2022 ORE 10.30:
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Tob 12:7-15

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Tob 12: 7-15 In those days: The angel Raphael said to Tobias: It is good to hide the sacrament of the king, but it is honorable to reveal and confirm the works of God. Prayer with fasting is good, and almsgiving is better than accumulating treasures of gold: because almsgiving saves from death, and it is it that purifies sins and makes people find mercy and eternal life
Matt 24: 42-47. At that time Jesus said to his disciples: «Watch therefore because you do not know what time your Lord will come. But bear this in mind: that if the head of the family knew what time the thief was coming, he would certainly keep watch and would not let his house be stripped.
Today we celebrate the feast of St. Raphael the Archangel.
He healed Tobias and freed Sara from a curse. He is invoked for healing from disease.
In the book of Ezekiel we have the prophecy of the pool of Bethesda.
Prophecy that was fulfilled with Jesus Christ (the water of God’s grace that heals all men).
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
