EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Luc 12:35-40
Gospel
Luke 12:35-40
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, Let your loins be girt about and your lamps burning, and you yourselves like men waiting for their master’s return from the wedding; so that when he comes and knocks, they may straight-way open to him. Blessed are those servants whom the master, on his return, shall find watching. Amen I say to you, he will gird himself, and will make them recline at table, and will come and serve them. And if he comes in the second watch, and if in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those servants! But of this be assured, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would certainly have watched, and not have let his house be broken into. You also must be ready, because at an hour that you do not expect, the Son of Man is coming.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – GIOVEDI 20 OTTOBRE 2022 ORE 18.00:
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Jac 2:12-17

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Jac 2: 12-17 Dear friends, you speak and act like this, as people who have to be judged according to a law of freedom. For without mercy he will be judged who does not use mercy: but mercy triumphs over judgment. What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith and doesn’t have works?
Luke 12: 35-40 At that time: Jesus said to his disciples: «Your hips are girded and the lamps are lit in your hands, like those who wait for their master when you return from your wedding, to open him as soon as he comes and knocks.
Today we remember a Polish saint, St. John Canzio (or St. John of Kęty in Poland, a small town near Oświęcim), was a presbyter, professor at the University of Krakow, Polish physicist, theologian and philosopher proclaimed a saint by the pope Clement XIII in 1767 (June 1390, Kęty, Poland-24 December 1473, Krakow, Poland). Beatification: 28 March 1676 by Pope Clement X.
He stood out for his great charity, he gave everything he owned. even the shoes. He is known for his charity.
Charity and mercy are the perfect complement to faith. Faith without charity and mercy is worth nothing! This is the difference with the children of satan!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
