In illo témpore: Dixit Petrus ad Iesum: Ecce, nos relíquimus ómnia, et secúti sumus te: quid ergo erit nobis? Iesus autem dixit illis: Amen, dico vobis, quod vos, qui secuti estis me, in regeneratióne, cum séderit Fílius hóminis in sede maiestátis suæ, sedébitis et vos super sedes duódecim, iudicántes duódecim tribus Israël. Et omnis, qui relíquerit domum, vel fratres, aut soróres, aut patrem, aut matrem, aut uxórem, aut fílios, aut agros, propter nomen meum, céntuplum accípiet, et vitam ætérnam possidébit.

At that time, Peter said to Jesus, Behold, we have left all and followed You; what then shall we have? And Jesus said to them, Amen I say to you that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of His glory, shall also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall possess life everlasting.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Eccli 45:1-6
Egli fu amato da Dio e dagli uomini. Gli fece udire la sua voce, e lo fece entrare nella nube; gli consegnò, a faccia a faccia, i suoi comandamenti ed una legge di vita e di saggezza.

Gesù disse loro: «In verità vi dico: Voi che mi avete seguito, nella rigenerazione, quando il Figlio dell’uomo sederà sul trono della sua gloria, sederete anche voi sopra dodici troni a
Oggi celebriamo la festa di San Romualdo abbate (San Romualdo di Camaldoli; Ravenna, tra il 951 e il 953 – Fabriano, 19 giugno 1027). E’ stato un monaco cristiano e abate italiano, fondatore dell’eremo di Camaldoli e promotore della Congregazione camaldolese, diramazione riformata dell’Ordine benedettino; è venerato come santo dalla Chiesa cattolica.
Si ritiro nel casentino (nella foresta di Camaldoli) per pregare. Una notte sogno’ di una scala che scendeva dal cielo. Comprese che doveva edificare un monastero nel campo di un certo Maldoli. Fu la fondazione del monastero di Camaldoli, formato da una serie di casette per dedicarsi all’eremitismo.
Nella chiesa ci sono momenti, come questo, in cui occorre dedicarsi alla preghiera e al monachesimo degli eremiti. La preghiera continua e’ cio’ che il Signore chiede.
Gesu’ ci vuole liberi, e disposti alla preghiera e pronti ad ascoltare la nostra coscienza. Questo ci rende veri e forti, perche’ ascoltando il Signore apprendiamo i suoi insegnamenti e la strada da compiere ogni giorno!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

He was loved by God and by men. He made him hear his voice, and brought him into the cloud; face to face he gave him his commandments and a law of life and wisdom.
Matth 19: 27-29.
Jesus said to them: “Truly I say to you: You who have followed me, in regeneration, when the Son of man will sit on the throne of his glory, you too will sit on twelve thrones.
Today we celebrate the feast of San Romualdo abbate (San Romualdo di Camaldoli; Ravenna, between 951 and 953 – Fabriano, 19 June 1027).
He was a Christian monk and Italian abbot, founder of the Camaldoli hermitage and promoter of the Camaldolese Congregation, a reformed branch of the Benedictine Order; he is revered as a saint by the Catholic Church.
He retreated to the Casentino (in the Camaldoli forest) to pray.
One night I dreamed of a staircase that descended from the sky. He understood that he had to build a monastery in the field of certain Maldoli.
It was the foundation of the Camaldoli monastery, consisting of a series of houses to devote to heritism. In the church there are moments, like this, in which it is necessary to dedicate oneself to prayer and to the monasticism of hermits.
Continuous prayer is what the Lord asks. Jesus wants us free, and willing to pray and ready to listen to our conscience.
This makes us sincere and strong, because by listening to the Lord we learn his teachings and the path to take every day!
