Audístis, quia dictum est antíquis: Non occídes: qui autem occíderit, reus erit iudício. Ego autem dico vobis: quia omnis, qui iráscitur fratri suo, reus erit iudício. Qui autem díxerit fratri suo, raca: reus erit concílio. Qui autem díxerit, fátue: reus erit gehénnæ ignis. You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not kill’; and that whoever shall kill shall be liable to judgment. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’, shall be liable to the fire of Gehenna. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift before the altar and go first to be reconciled to your brother; and then come and offer your gift.

1 Pet 3:8-15
Carissimi: Siate tutti uniti nella preghiera, siate compassionevoli, animati da amore fraterno, misericordiosi, modesti, umili: non rendete male per male, né offesa per offesa, ma piuttosto benedizione, poiché a ciò siete stati chiamati, al fine di ereditare la benedizione.

In quel tempo: Gesú disse ai suoi discepoli: Se la vostra giustizia non sarà stata più grande di quella degli scribi e dei farisei, non entrerete nel Regno dei Cieli.
Oggi il Signore ci fa ricordare che la nostra giustizia non deve essere quella degli scribi e dei farisei. Per loro era sufficiente obbedire ai comandamenti. Ma per noi non puo’ essere sufficiente.
Occorre osservare il 10 comandamenti: sono la base per la nostra vita. Ma non e’ sufficiente! Infatti Gesu’ dice che non basta: devi abbandonare tutto e seguirlo! Gesu’ dice che e’ venuto a perfezionare la legge.
Quindi occorre andare oltre, occorre compiere tutto per amore di Dio!
L’amore vero non si misura! Occorre fare il massimo, impegnarci al massimo! Tutti noi infatti abbiamo avuto bisogno del sacrificio di Cristo. Per questo dobbiamo amare tutti, non si deve offendere nessuno, si puo’ cercare di correggere gli errori altrui. Se non e’ possibile, ci sia la preghiera!
Anche la S. Messa non puo’ essere fatta correttamente se abbiamo rancore nel cuore. Occorre ispirarsi al Cuore di Gesu’ e allo Spirito Santo!
Sia lodato Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

1 Pet 3: 8-15 Dear friends: Be all united in prayer, be compassionate, animated by brotherly love, merciful, modest, humble: do not return evil for evil, nor offense for offense, but rather blessing, since you have been called to this, in order to inherit the blessing.
Matt 5: 20-24 At that time: Jesus said to his disciples: If your righteousness is not greater than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Today the Lord reminds us that our justice must not be that of the scribes and Pharisees. For them it was enough to obey the commandments. But for us it can’t be enough.
The 10 commandments must be observed: they are the basis for our life. But that’s not enough! In fact, Jesus says that it is not enough: you must abandon everything and follow him! Jesus says he came to perfect the law.
So it is necessary to go further, it is necessary to do everything for the love of God! True love cannot be measured!
We must do our utmost, do our utmost! In fact, all of us needed Christ’s sacrifice. For this we must love everyone, we must not offend anyone, we can try to correct the mistakes of others. If this is not possible, let there be prayer!
Even the Holy Mass cannot be done correctly if they have a grudge in their hearts.
We need to be inspired by the Heart of Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
