DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dagli Atti dei Apostoli. San Paolo mentre si reca a Damasco per arrestare i cristiani e portarli in catene a Gerusalemme, viene miracolosamente convertito da Gesu’ Cristo. Fattosi battezzare, subitosi mette a predicare che Gesu’ e’ il Cristo.
Nel Vangelo S. Pietro chiede a Gesu’ cosa riceveranno gli apostoli per aver lasciato tutte le cose mondane.
Oggi celebriamo la festa della conversione di S. Paolo Apostolo. E’ un evento miracoloso. Il Signore ha avuto pieta’ di lui mostrando verso di lui e verso di noi la sua potenza.
I nemici della Chiesa possono essere convertiti! Anche oggi questo puo’ accedere se il Signore decide di compiere un grandissimo miracolo. Anche la nostra conversione possa compiersi fino alla pienezza!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

From the Acts of the Apostles.
Saint Paul, while traveling to Damascus to arrest Christians and bring them in chains to Jerusalem, was miraculously converted by Jesus Christ. Having been baptised, he immediately began preaching that Jesus was the Christ.
In the Gospel, St. Peter asks Jesus what the apostles will receive for having left all worldly things. Today we celebrate the feast of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. It is a miraculous event. The Lord had mercy on him, showing his power towards him and towards us. The enemies of the Church can be converted! Even today this can happen if the Lord decides to perform a great miracle. May our conversion also be completed to its fullness!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
