Matt 5:20-24
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus discípulis suis: Nisi abundáverit iustítia vestra plus quam scribárum et pharisæórum, non intrábitis in regnum cœlórum. Audístis, quia dictum est antíquis: Non occídes: qui autem occíderit, reus erit iudício. Ego autem dico vobis: quia omnis, qui iráscitur fratri suo, reus erit iudício. Qui autem díxerit fratri suo, raca: reus erit concílio. Qui autem díxerit, fátue: reus erit gehénnæ ignis. Si ergo offers munus tuum ad altáre, et ibi recordátus fúeris, quia frater tuus habet áliquid advérsum te: relínque ibi munus tuum ante altáre et vade prius reconciliári fratri tuo: et tunc véniens ófferes munus tuum.

At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: Unless your justice exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not kill’; and that whoever shall kill shall be liable to judgment. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’, shall be liable to the fire of Gehenna. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift before the altar and go first to be reconciled to your brother; and then come and offer your gift.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Gesu’ nel Vangelo annuncia che il Figlio dell’Uomo, lui stesso, sara’ glorificato. Si tratta del sacrificio supremo di se!
Oggi ricordiamo S.Maria Goretti martirizzata nel 1902 a 12 anni da un violentatore. Muore dopo ventiquattro ore dopo un intervento disperato. Nel 1950 Pio XII la dichiara santa, in quanto martire, alla presenza di sua madre e del suo assassino, nel frattempo pentitosi del suo assassinio.
Maria Goretti era giunta pronta al martirio con la preghiera, la purezza e il lavoro (gia’ lavorava a 12 anni).
Solo in un’ottica di fede si puo’ comprendere il suo sacrificio. L’altra virtu’ che dimostro’ fu il perdono e la carita’.
Preghiamo perche’ nella Chiesa tornino a risplendere questi valori. Questo perche’ purtroppo anche oggi i giovani sono bersaglio della malvagita’ e della perversione piu’ crudeli.
Chiediamo l’intercessione di Santa Maria Goretti affinche’ i giovani possano vivere di nuovo con fede cristiana!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Jesus in the Gospel announces that the Son of Man, himself, will be glorified. This is the ultimate self-sacrifice!
Today we remember St. Maria Goretti martyred in 1902 at the age of 12 by a rapist. He dies after twenty-four hours after a desperate intervention. In 1950 Pius XII declared her a saint, as a martyr, in the presence of her mother and her assassin, who in the meantime had repented of her assassination.
Maria Goretti had reached martyrdom ready with prayer, purity and work (she was already working at the age of 12).
Only from the point of view of faith can his sacrifice be understood. The other virtue he demonstrated was forgiveness and charity.
Let us pray that these values may shine forth again in the Church. This is because unfortunately even today young people are the target of wickedness and the cruellest perversion.
We ask for the intercession of Saint Maria Goretti so that young people can live again with Christian faith!
