EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Marc 16:1-7.
Erat quippe magnus valde.
Gospel
Mark 16:1-7
At that time, Mary Magdalen, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought sweet spices, that coming they might anoint Jesus. And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came to the sepulchre, the sun being now risen. And they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And looking, they saw the stone rolled back. For it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe, and they were astonished. Who saith to them, Be not affrighted; ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: He is risen, He is not here; behold the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples, and Peter, that He goeth before you into Galilee; there you shall see Him, as He told you.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – DOMENICA 31 MARZO 2024 ORE 10.30:

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Reading of the Letter of the Blessed Paul Ap. to the Corinthians. Brothers: Purify yourselves from the old yeast to be new dough, as you already are unleavened. In fact, Christ, our Easter, was sacrificed. Let us feast therefore: not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and perversity, but with the unleavened bread of purity and truth.
From the Gospel according to St. Mark. At that time: Mary Magdalene, Mary of James, and Salòme, bought spices to go and anoint Jesus. And early in the morning, the first day after the Sabbath, they arrived at the tomb, when the sun had already risen. Now they said to each other: Who will move the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb? And looking, they saw that the stone had been moved: yet it was very large. We listened to the Easter announcement given by an angel, who announces the Resurrection at dawn on Sunday. It is the first day of the Redemption of humanity, similar to the first day of the creation of the world. This is why we Christians sanctify Sunday and not Saturday. Sunday is the holy day of Christianity. The light of the resurrection enters us through baptism and remains there forever. We must continue to live in the light of the resurrection. Today is Easter day and we must leave with the new unleavened bread, freshly fermented. We must throw away everything that is the old man of sin. Instead, we must take on everything that Jesus has given us. Jesus is alive when we pray collectively every day (even when we are alone) and especially in the Eucharist.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
