EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Marc 6:7-13
Gospel
MarK 6:7-13
7 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
8 These were his instructions: “Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts. 9 Wear sandals but not an extra shirt. 10 Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. 11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
12 They went out and preached that people should repent. 13 They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – GIOVEDI 28 MARZO 2024 ORE 20.30:

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
From the first letter of St. Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians.
St. Paul tells us: “What I have passed on I have received from Jesus Christ: the Eucharist given to us by Jesus Christ which is his body and the wine, that is, the very blood of the Lord.”
From the Gospel according to St. John
Before the feast of Easter, Jesus, knowing that his time had come to pass from this world to the Father, after having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end. 12So when he had washed their feet and taken up their clothes, he sat down again and said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? 13You call me Master and Lord and you are right, because I am. 14If then I, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. This liturgy recalls the institution of the SS. Eucharist. Shortly before being betrayed and crucified, Jesus gives us the gift of the Eucharist. Jesus is full of love for his disciples even who betrayed him like Judas (and also St. Peter). But the Eucharist must be received worthily because it is a mystery of love and charity. We need to love the Lord and also other people. Our heart must therefore be worthy. This is why he washes the feet of his disciples even if, according to Peter, it is not his job. But Jesus washes our feet to wash away our sins. But there are those who are not worthy (like Judas). We must be careful not to be the traitors. The disciples are the ministerial priests, that is, those who distribute the Eucharist. Let us therefore pray for the priests, especially the lost ones who do not care about the health of the faithful. We must renew ourselves to remain faithful to the Lord and fight heresy. Maintaining love for others.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
