Matt 21:10-17
In illo témpore: Cum intrásset Iesus Ierosólymam, commóta est univérsa cívitas, dicens: Quis est hic? Pópuli autem dicébant: Hic est Iesus Prophéta a Názareth Galilǽæ. Et intrávit Iesus in templum Dei, et eiiciébat omnes vendéntes, et eméntes in templo; et mensas nummulariórum et cáthedras vendéntium colúmbas evértit: et dicit eis: Scriptum est: Domus mea domus oratiónis vocábitur: vos autem fecístis illam spelúncam latrónum. At that time, when Jesus entered Jerusalem, all the city was thrown into commotion, saying, Who is this? But the crowds kept on saying, This is Jesus the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee. And Jesus entered the temple of God, and cast out all those who were selling and buying in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold the doves. And He said to them, It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you have make it a den of thieves. And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. But the chief priests and the Scribes, seeing the wonderful deeds that He did, and the children crying out in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, were indignant, and said to Him, Do You hear what these are saying? And Jesus said to them, Yes; have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of infants and sucklings You have perfected praise’? And leaving them, He went out of the city to Bethany and He stayed there.

Dal libro del profeta Isaia.
Cosi parlò il profeta Isaia in quei giorni: «Cercate il Signore quando può essere trovato, invocatelo quando è vicino. L’empio abbandoni la sua via, l’iniquo i suoi pensieri e ritorni al Signore che ne avrà pietà, al nostro Dio che largheggi. nel perdono.
Dal Vangelo secondo S. Matteo.
In quel tempo: Entrato Gesù in Gerusalemme, tutta la città fu scossa, dicendo: «Chi è costui?». E le turbe rispondevano: «È Gesù, il profeta di Nazaret di Galilea». Ed entrò Gesù nel tempio di Dio, ne scacciò tutti quelli che vi compravano e vendevano, e rovesciò i banchi dei cambiamonete e le sedie dei venditori di colombe, dicendo loro: «Sta scritto: “La mia casa è casa di orazione”; ma voi ne avete fatto una spelonca di ladri».
Ogni 20 del mese dedichiamo la S. Messa a S. Padre Pio affinche’ ci protegga.
Nel Vangelo Gesu’ caccia i mercanti dal Tempio. Gesu’ vuole infatti che il suo tempio sia dedicato alla preghiera! Per questo ha dimostrato grande severita’: occorre purificare noi stessi e le nostre intenzioni verso gli altri! Cerchiamo dunque la parola (la pioggia e la neve entrambe feconde) del Signore!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo. Sempre sia lodato!
