DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Dalla lettera di san Paolo apostolo a Tito. I confini dell’universo hanno veduto la salvezza del nostro Dio. Si è manifestata la benignità e l’amore per gli uomini di Dio, per mezzo di Gesù Cristo nostro Salvatore. Cio’ affinché, giustificati dalla sua grazia, noi diventiamo nella speranza eredi della vita eterna in Cristo Gesù nostro Signore.
Dal Vangelo secondo Luca. Venite, nazioni, e adorate il Signore, perché oggi una grande luce è discesa sulla terra! E’ l’esortazione degli angeli che ci chiamano alla grotta di Betlemme. In quel tempo, i pastori dicevano l’un l’altro: «Andiamo fino a Betlemme a vedere l’evento che si è compiuto e che il Signore ci ha manifestato». Per questo si avviarono con sollecitudine (in quanto hanno fretta di verificare i segni indicati dagli angeli) verso Betlemme dove in una grotta dei pastori trovarono Maria, Giuseppe, e il bambino adagiato in una mangiatoia. E i pastori se ne tornarono, glorificando e lodando Dio per tutto ciò che avevano udito e veduto, conformemente a quanto era stato loro predetto dagli angeli.
I pastori hanno fede in Gesu’, preparata dalla profezia degli angeli e acquisita tramite la visione di Gesu bambino! Preghiamo dunque affinche il mondo intero sia trasformato dalla fede in Gesu’ bambino!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

From the letter of Saint Paul the apostle to Titus. The ends of the universe have seen the salvation of our God. God’s kindness and love for men has been manifested, through Jesus Christ our Savior. This is so that, justified by his grace, we hopefully become heirs of eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. From the Gospel according to Luke. Come, nations, and worship the Lord, for today a great light has descended upon the earth! It is the exhortation of the angels who call us to the Bethlehem cave. At that time, the shepherds said to each other: “Let us go to Bethlehem to see the event that has taken place and that the Lord has revealed to us”. For this reason they set out promptly (as they are in a hurry to verify the signs indicated by the angels) towards Bethlehem where in a shepherds’ cave they found Mary, Joseph, and the child lying in a manger. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, in accordance with what had been predicted to them by the angels. The shepherds have faith in Jesus, prepared by the prophecy of the angels and acquired through the vision of the baby Jesus! Let us therefore pray that the whole world may be transformed by faith in baby Jesus!
