Joannes 15:12-16.
In illo témpore: Dixit Jesus discípulis suis: Hoc est præcéptum meum, ut diligátis ínvicem, sicut diléxi vos. Majórem hac dilectiónem nemo habet, ut ánimam suam ponat quis pro amícis suis. Vos amíci mei estis, si fecéritis quæ ego præcípio vobis. Jam non dicam vos servos: quia servus nescit, quid fáciat dóminus ejus. Vos autem dixi amícos: quia ómnia, quæcúmque audivi a Patre meo, nota feci vobis. This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you. I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth. But I have called you friends: because all things whatsoever I have heard of my Father, I have made known to you. You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
L’Arcangelo Gabriele giunge a Betlemme e annuncia a Maria il concepimento e la nascita di Gesu’, l’Emmanuele e il Messia. Il suo regno non avra’ fine. Lo Spirito Santo verra’ su di lei per concepire il Figlio di Dio. Nulla e’ impossibile a Dio!
Oggi e’ il mercoledi della 4 tempora, girno di penitenza ed anche dell’annuncio dell’Angelo a Maria. E’ Maria al centro del Vangelo: lei e’ piena di grazia, preparata nella santita’ della sua anima – come indicato nelle profezie -per essere la madre del Salvatore. Maria e’ il segno della grazia di Dio verso l’umanita’.
Anche noi siamo chiamati ad attendere il Messia in questo tempo di tenebre. E di nuovo e’ Maria la persona attraverso cui si manifestera’ Gesu’ Cristo!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

The Archangel Gabriel arrives in Bethlehem and announces to Mary the conception and birth of Jesus, Emmanuel and the Messiah. His kingdom will have no end. The Holy Spirit will come upon her to conceive the Son of God. Nothing is impossible for God! Today is the Wednesday of the 4th time, the day of penance and also of the announcement of the Angel to Mary. It is Mary at the center of the Gospel: she is full of grace, prepared in the holiness of her soul – as indicated in the prophecies – to be the mother of the Savior. Mary is the sign of God’s grace towards humanity. We too are called to wait for the Messiah in this time of darkness. And once again Mary is the person through whom Jesus Christ will manifest himself!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
