Ioann 6:56-59
In illo témpore: Dixit Iesus turbis Iudæórum: Caro mea vere est cibus et sanguis meus vere est potus. Qui mandúcat meam carnem et bibit meum sánguinem, in me manet et ego in illo. Sicut misit me vivens Pater, et ego vivo propter Patrem: et qui mandúcat me, et ipse vivet propter me. Hic est panis, qui de cœlo descéndit. John 6:56-59.
At that time, Jesus said to the crowds of the Jews: My Flesh is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed. He who eats My Flesh, and drinks My Blood, abides in Me and I in him. As the living Father has sent Me, and as I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me. This is the Bread that has come down from heaven; not as your fathers ate the manna, and died. He who eats this Bread shall live forever.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
1 Cor 11:23-29
Fratelli: Io stesso ho appreso dal Signore quello che ho insegnato a voi: il Signore Gesú, nella stessa notte nella quale veniva tradito: prese il pane, e rendendo grazie, lo spezzò e disse: Prendete e mangiate, questo è il mio corpo che sarà immolato per voi: fate questo in memoria di me. Similmente, dopo cena, prese il calice, dicendo: Questo calice è il nuovo patto nel mio sangue, tutte le volte che ne berrete, fate questo in memoria di me. Infatti, tutte le volte che mangerete questo pane e berrete questo calice, annunzierete la morte del Signore fino a quando Egli verrà. Chiunque perciò avrà mangiato questo pane e bevuto questo calice indegnamente, sarà reo del Corpo e del Sangue del Signore. Dunque, l’uomo esamini sé stesso e poi mangi di quel pane e beva di quel calice: chi infatti mangia e beve indegnamente, mangia e beve la sua condanna, non riconoscendo il corpo del Signore.

In quel tempo: Gesú disse alle turbe dei Giudei: La mia carne è veramente cibo, e il mio sangue è veramente bevanda. Chi mangia la mia carne e beve il mio sangue, vive in me e io in lui. Come è vivo il Padre che mi ha mandato, e io vivo del Padre, cosí chi mangia la mia carne vive di me. Questo è il pane che discende dal cielo. Non come i vostri padri che mangiarono la manna e sono morti. Chi mangia questo pane vivrà in eterno.
Celebriamo la festa del Corpus Domini, con Gesu’ Cristo presente con il suo corpo.
La festa e’ stata iniziata attorno al 1200 in Belgio a Liegi per sottolineare l’importanza della devozione al corpo santo di Gesu’ Cristo. Numerosi furono i miracoli eucaristici per confermare la reale presenza del corpo del Signore.
Ma ciononostante la fiamma della fede e’ diminuita. Specialmente oggi, molti ministri del culto non credono piu’ alla presenza reale di Gesu’ Cristo. Con cio’ quei sacerdoti non sono piu’ cattolici ne veramente cristiani e molte di quelle chiese sono divenute templi di una falsa religione.
Nel nostro piccolo noi cerchiamo di mantenere viva la fede! Pur lontani fisicamente cerchiamo di fortificare la nostra fede per diffondere la fede negli altri!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

1 Cor. 23-29.
Brethren: I myself have received from the Lord – what I also delivered to you, – that the Lord Jesus, on the night in which He was betrayed, took bread, and giving thanks broke, and said, Take and eat. This is My Body which shall be given up for you; do this in remembrance of Me. In like manner also the cup, after He had supped, saying, This is the new covenant in My Blood; do this as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as you shall eat this Bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord, until He comes. Therefore whoever eats this Bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily, will be guilty of the Body and the Blood of the Lord. But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of that Bread and drink of the cup; for he who eats and drinks unworthily, without distinguishing the Body, eats and drinks judgment to himself.

We celebrate the feast of Corpus Domini, with Jesus Christ present with his body.
The feast began around 1200 in Belgium in Liège to underline the importance of devotion to the holy body of Jesus Christ. There were numerous Eucharistic miracles to confirm the real presence of the Lord’s body.
But nevertheless the flame of faith has diminished. Especially today, many ministers of religion no longer believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ. With this those priests are no longer Catholics or truly Christians and many of those churches have become temples of a false religion.
In our small way we try to keep the faith alive! Although physically distant we try to strengthen our faith to spread the faith in others!
