Luc 4:38-44
In illo témpore: Surgens Iesus de synagóga, introívit in domum Simónis. Socrus autem Simónis tenebátur magnis fébribus: et rogavérunt illum pro ea. Et stans super illam, imperávit febri: et dimísit illam. Et contínuo surgens, ministrábat illis. Cum autem sol occidísset, omnes qui habébant infírmos váriis languóribus, ducébant illos ad eum. At ille síngulis manus impónens, curábat eos. Exíbant autem dæmónia a multis clamántia et dicéntia: Quia tu es Fílius Dei: et íncrepans non sinébat ea loqui, quia sciébant ipsum esse Christum. Facta autem die egréssus ibat in desértum locum, et turbæ requirébant eum, et venérunt usque ad ipsum: et detinébant illum, ne discéderet ab eis. At that time, Jesus rose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a great fever, and they besought Him for her. And standing over her He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she rose at once and began to wait on them. Now when the sun was setting, all who had persons sick with various diseases brought them to Him. And He laid His hands upon each of them and cured them. And devils also came forth from many, crying out and saying, You are the Son of God. And He rebuked them, and did not permit them to speak, because they know that He was the Christ. Now when it was day, He went out and departed into a desert place. And the crowds were seeking after Him, and they came to Him, and tried to detain Him, that he might not depart from them. But He said to them, To the other towns also I must proclaim the kingdom of God, for this is why I have been sent. And He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.

Joel 2:28-32
Queste cose dice il Signore Iddio: «Spanderò il mio Spirito sopra tutti gli uomini: i vostri figli e le vostre figlie profeteranno, i vostri vecchi avran dei sogni, i vostri giovani delle visioni. Ed anche sopra i miei servi e serve effonderò in quei giorni il mio spirito, e farò apparire dei prodigi nel cielo e sulla terra: sangue, fuoco e colonne di fumo. Il sole si cangerà in tenebre, la luna in sangue, prima che venga il giorno del Signore, grande e terribile. Ed allora chi invocherà il Nome del Signore sarà salvo».
Rom 5:1-5.
Fratelli: Giustificati per mezzo della Fede, siamo ora in pace con Dio nel Cristo Gesù nostro Signore. A Lui dobbiamo d’essere arrivati, per la Fede, a questo stato di grazia, nel quale stiam fermi, e nel quale abbiamo la speranza di giungere alla gloria dei figli di Dio. E non solo, ma ci sentiamo gloriosi di patire tribolazioni, sapendo come la tribolazione produce la pazienza, la pazienza la virtù provata, e la virtù provata perfeziona la speranza. E questa speranza non è illusoria, perché la carità di Dio è stata diffusa nei nostri cuori per mezzo dello Spirito Santo, che ci è stato donato.
Luc 4:38-44
In quel tempo Gesù, uscito dalla sinagoga, entrò in casa di Simone. Or la suocera di Simone era presa da violenta febbre; e gliela raccomandarono. Egli chinatosi verso di lei, comandò alla febbre e ne fu liberata; e alzatasi sull’istante, si mise a servirli. Sul tramontar del sole, quanti avevano infermi di varie malattie li portavano a lui. Ed egli, imposte a ciascuno le mani, li risanava. Uscivano anche i demoni da molti, gridando e dicendo: «Tu sei il Figlio di Dio». Ma egli li sgridava e non lasciava dire loro di sapere che lui era il Cristo. Fattosi poi giorno, usci per andare in luogo deserto ma le turbe, andate a cercarlo, giunsero fino a lui e lo volevano trattenere, perché non partisse da loro. Ma egli disse: «Bisogna che annunzi anche alle altre città la buona novella del regno di Dio; ché per questo sono stato mandato». E predicava per le sinagoghe di Galilea.
Siamo giunti alla fine dell’ottava di Pentecoste e siamo al primo sabato del Mese. E’ una data importante perche’ festeggiamo anche la BVM.
Oggi abbiamo sentito che l’amore di Dio arriva a noi tramite lo Spirito Santo che vive in noi. E’ l’amore di Dio (la carita di Dio) riversata nei nostri cuori. Il nostro cuore e’ materiale, ma l’amore di Dio e’ divino! Siamo stati creati per questo: per questa gioia perenne!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Joel 2:28-32.
Thus says the Lord God: I will pour out My Spirit upon all mankind. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; even upon the servants and the handmaids, in those days, I will pour out My Spirit. And I will work wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, fire, and columns of smoke; the sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, at the coming of the Day of the Lord, the great and terrible day. Then everyone shall be rescued who calls on the name of the Lord.
Rom 5:1-5.
Brethren: Having been justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we also have access by faith unto that grace in which we stand, and exult in the hope of the glory of the sons of God. And not only this, but we exult in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation works out endurance, and endurance tried virtue, and tried virtue hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

We have reached the end of the octave of Pentecost and we are on the first Saturday of the month. It is an important date because we are also celebrating the BVM.
Today we have heard that God’s love comes to us through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. It is the love of God (the charity of God) poured into our hearts. Our heart is material, but God’s love is divine! We were created for this: for this everlasting joy!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
