DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
Luca 12:35-40
In quel tempo: Disse Gesù ai suoi discepoli: «I vostri fianchi sian cinti ed accese nelle vostre mani le lucerne, come coloro che aspettano il loro padrone quando torni da nozze, per aprirgli appena giunge e picchia. Beati quei servi che il padrone, arrivando, troverà desti. In verità vi dico, che, cintosi, li farà sedere a tavola e si metterà a servirli. E se giungerà alla seconda vigilia e se giungerà alla terza vigilia e li troverà così, beati loro! Sappiate pero che se il padrone conoscesse in qual ora viene il ladro, veglierebbe senza dubbio, e non si lascerebbe sfondare la casa. E anche voi tenetevi pronti, perché, nell’ora che non pensate, verrà il Figlio dell’uomo.
Abbiamo sentito che se il padrone rientra alla seconda o terza vigilia e trova i servi pronti, li ricompensera’ con abbondanza.
S. Antonio abbate si ritiro’ nel deserto, alla scuola di San Paolo l’eremita, suo maestro nel monachesimo eremitico. S.Antonio divenne a sua volta padre spirituale di altri monaci, tra cui S. Atanasio. Fu il fondatore della vita monastica comunitaria.
Anche S. Antonio partecipo’ alla lotta contro l’arianesimo. I Santi, infatti, si sono sempre schierati apertamente per la difesa della dottrina cattolica. E soprattutto non partecipavano ai riti e celebrazioni degli eretici!
Oggi c’e’ invece inerzia, timore (o pigrizia) a pronunciarsi correttamente contro la falsa chiesa eretica.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Luke 12:35-40 At that time: Jesus said to his disciples: «Your loins are girded and you light the lamps in your hands, like those who wait for their master when he returns from the wedding, to open for him as soon as he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master will find awake when he arrives. I tell you the truth, having girded himself, he will seat them at the table and serve them. And if he arrives on the second watch and if he arrives on the third watch and finds them like this, lucky them! Know, however, that if the owner knew at what time the thief was coming, he would undoubtedly stay awake, and would not let the house be broken into. And you too, be ready, because the Son of man will come at an hour that you do not think.
We have heard that if the master returns on the second or third watch and finds his servants ready, he will reward them abundantly. St. Anthony Abbot retired to the desert, to the school of St. Paul the hermit, his teacher in hermitic monasticism. St. Anthony in turn became the spiritual father of other monks, including St. Athanasius. He was the founder of community monastic life. Even St. Anthony therefore participates in the fight against Arianism. The Saints, in fact, have always openly sided for the defense of Catholic doctrine. And above all they did not participate in the rites and celebrations of the heretics! Today there is instead inertia, fear (or laziness) to pronounce correctly against the false heretical church.
