Luc 3:1-6
Anno quintodécimo impérii Tibérii Cǽsaris, procuránte Póntio Piláto Iudǽam, tetrárcha autem Galilǽæ Heróde, Philíppo autem fratre eius tetrárcha Iturǽæ et Trachonítidis regionis, et Lysánia Abilínæ tetrárcha, sub princípibus sacerdotum Anna et Cáipha: factum est verbum Domini super Ioannem, Zacharíæ filium, in deserto. Luke 3:1-6
Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was procurator of Judea, and Herod tetrarch of Galilee, and Philip his brother tetrarch of the district of Abilene, during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zachary, in the desert. And he went into all the region about the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of Isaias the prophet. The voice of one crying in the desert, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord, make straight His paths. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked ways shall be made straight, and the rough ways smooth; and all mankind shall see the salvation of God.’

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**,1)
1 Cor 4:1-5
Fratelli: Gli uomini ci devono considerare come ministri di Cristo, e amministratori dei misteri di Dio. Orbene, ecco ciò che si chiede agli amministratori: che siano fedeli. Poco importa a me d’essere giudicato da voi o da un tribunale di uomini, anzi neppure mi giudico da me stesso. Anche se non ho coscienza di alcuna colpa: non per questo sono giustificato: chi invece mi giudica è il Signore. Perciò non giudicate prima del tempo, fino a che venga il Signore, che illuminerà i segreti occulti e farà conoscere i disegni dei cuori: ed allora ognuno avrà da Dio la sua lode.
Luc 3:1-6
L’anno quindicesimo dell’impero di Tiberio Cesare, essendo Ponzio Pilato procuratore della Giudea, Erode tetrarca della Galilea, suo fratello Filippo tetrarca dell’ Iturea e della Traconítide, e Lisania tetrarca dell’Abiléne, sotto i gran sacerdoti Anna e Caifa, la parola del Signore si fece udire a Giovanni, figlio di Zaccaria, nel deserto.
La quarta domenica di Avvento ci fa invocare l’arrivo del Signore.
Il Signore verra’, lo ha pronesso!
In un certo periodo storico ben preciso San Giovanni Battista ha cominciato a predicare l’arrivo del Signore. Ma ora gli eventi anticipati dalle profezie ci fanno attendere il ritorno del Signore in un tempo che solo lui conosce.
Mettera’ in campo i nuovi apostoli degli ultimi tempi. Dio ha mandato in campo molti santi con importanti rivelazioni. La parola del Signore e’ gia scesa! C’e’ un Piccolo Resto fedele a Cristo che si lascia guidare dalla parola di Cristo e dai profeti (quelli veri che dobbiamo discernere).
Non perdiamo quindi la fiducia, invocando il Signore in ogni momento. Ma non giudichiamo prima del tempo! Il Signore fara’ luce su tutto, perfino sulle nostre intenzioni!
Il momento dell’illuminazione avverra’ con il grande avvertimento.
Il momento e’ prossimo. Con l’epistola di ieri abbiamo appreso che questo si verifichera’ con l’apparizione dell’uomo iniquo che si insediera’ nel posto santo di Dio. Ma bastera’ una parola di Dio a distruggerlo!
Intanto gioiamo con il Natale, che e’ la prova che Dio e’ fedele!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Brethren: Let a man so account us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Now here it is required in stewards that a man be found trustworthy. But with me it is a very small matter to be judged by you or by man’s tribunal. Nay I do not even judge my own self. For I have nothing on my conscience, yet I am not thereby justified; but he who judges me is the Lord. Therefore, pass no judgment before the time, until the Lord comes, Who will both bring to light the things hidden in darkness and make manifest the counsels of hearts; and then everyone will have his praise from God.

The fourth Sunday of Advent makes us invoke the arrival of the Lord. The Lord will come, he promised! In a certain precise historical period, Saint John the Baptist began to preach the arrival of the Lord. But now the events anticipated by the prophecies make us wait for the Lord’s return in a time that only he knows.
The new apostles of the end times will take the field. God has sent many saints into fields with important revelations.
The word of the Lord has already come down! There is a Small Remnant of faithful to Christ who let themselves be guided by the word of Christ and by the prophets (the real ones that we must discern). Let us therefore not lose faith, invoking the Lord at all times. But let’s not judge ahead of time! The Lord will shed light on everything, even on our intentions!
The moment of enlightenment will come with the great warning. The time has come. With yesterday’s epistle we learned that this will occur with the appearance of the unjust man who takes up his seat in God’s holy place.
But a word from God will be enough to destroy him!
Meanwhile let’s rejoice with Christmas, which is proof that God is faithful!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
