Ioann 1:19-28
In illo tempore: Misérunt Iudǽi ab Ierosólymis sacerdótes et levítas ad Ioánnem, ut interrogárent eum: Tu quis es? Et conféssus est, et non negávit: et conféssus est: Quia non sum ego Christus. Et interrogavérunt eum: Quid ergo? Elías es tu? Et dixit: Non sum. Prophéta es tu? Et respondit: Non. Dixérunt ergo ei: Quis es, ut respónsum demus his, qui misérunt nos? Quid dicis de te ipso? At that time, the Jews sent to John from Jerusalem priests and Levites to ask him, Who are you? And he acknowledged and did not deny; and he acknowledged, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Are you Elias? And he said, I am not. Are you the Prophet? And he answered, No. They therefore said to him, Who are you? that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What have you to say of yourself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the desert, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as said Isaias the prophet. And they who had been sent were from among the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said to him, Why, then, do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elias, nor the Prophet? John said to them in answer, I baptize with water; but in the midst of you there has stood One Whom you do not know. He it is Who is to come after me, Who has been set above me, the strap of Whose sandal I am not worthy to loose. These things took place at Bethany, beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

Philipp 4:4-7
Fratelli: Godete sempre nel Signore: ve lo ripeto: godete. La vostra modestia sia manifesta a tutti gli uomini: il Signore è vicino. Non siate ansiosi per alcuna cosa, ma in ogni circostanza fate conoscere a Dio i vostri bisogni per mezzo delle vostre preghiere e suppliche con azioni di grazie. E la pace di Dio, che sopravanza ogni intelligenza, custodirà i vostri cuori e le vostre menti in Cristo Gesù nostro Signore.
Joann 1:19-28
In quel tempo: Da Gerusalemme mandarono a Giovanni sacerdoti e leviti per domandargli: Chi sei? Ed egli riconobbe, e non negò, e confessò: Non sono il Cristo. Cosa dici di te stesso? Disse: Sono una voce che grida nel deserto: Preparate la via del Signore, come disse il profeta Isaia.
Abbiamo udito le risposte di San Giovanni Battista. Nega di essere Cristo, Elia che deve tornare al mondo, il Profeta di cui parla il Deuteronomio. Ma dice di essere colui che “grida nel deserto” e che “apre la via del Signore.” Non si mette affatto su un piedistallo per acquisire vantaggi umani!
Il Signore e’ vicino! Questo e’ certo!
Il Signore permette questo tempo di attesa e queste difficolta’ e sofferenze, per purificarci! Il Piccolo Resto che la Madonna raccoglie attorno a se include anche molti sacerdoti che lavorano di nascosto. Non siamo affatto soli! Esiste un Piccolo Resto che non possiamo calcolare! E’ tutto nella mente di Dio e dell’amministrazione del Cuore Immacolato di Maria! Se un sacerdote ha la vocazione ha necessariamente la consapevolezza della vera fede! La verita’ deve uscire fuori! Queste persone vanno rispettate! Il seme c’e’ e la pianta crescera’ al momento giusto!
Questa e’ la domenica “in gaudete”. Ricorda la primavera, con i fiori che porteranno i frutti. Il Piccolo Resto attuale e’ pero penitente in attesa della grande gioia della grazia!
Questa e’ la settimana delle quattuor tempora invernali, oer compiere digiuno e penitenze.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Philipp 4:4-7 Brothers: Always rejoice in the Lord: I repeat it: rejoice. Your modesty be manifest to all men: the Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in all circumstances let God know your needs through your prayers and supplications with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What do you say about yourself? He said: I am a voice crying in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord, as the prophet Isaiah said.
We have heard the answers of St. John the Baptist. He denies being Christ, Elijah who must return to the world, the Prophet of whom Deuteronomy speaks. But he says he is the one who “cries out in the wilderness” and who “opens the way to the Lord.” He does not put himself on a pedestal to acquire human advantages! The Lord is near! This is for sure! The Lord allows this time of waiting and these difficulties and sufferings, to purify us! The Small Rest that Our Lady gathers around her also includes many priests who work in secret. We are by no means alone! There is a Small Remainder that we cannot calculate! It is all in the mind of God and the administration of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! If a priest has a vocation he necessarily has the awareness of the true faith! The truth must come out! These people must be respected! The seed is there and the plant will grow at the right time! This is Sunday “in gaudete”. Remember spring, with flowers that will bear fruit. The current Piccolo Resto is however a penitent awaiting the great joy of grace! This is the week of the four winter seasons, to perform fasting and penance.
